That United defence looked like what was hastily assembled from township primary school.

Herrera/matic looks fantastic on paper but in reality couldn't contain casemiro/isco.

Miki and Matic were the only United players that played like men. Not forgetting the exceptional de gea.

I think utd missed Bailly's presence. Herrera is one hell of a midfielder, I think he needs to play more with Matic. Problem now is Pogba. He had little influence in the game with all that protection.

Bro, if Mata had that sort of licence to roam free, he'll create more chances and perform way better than him but its unfortunate that Mou prefers Mata as a winger, rarely uses him and Pogba is worth £90m.

you have no idea what you're talking about, no matter how good a goalkeeper is, so long you know how to kick a ball you'll definitely score at least one out of five, let alone one out of 500, I know you're exaggerating but we need to draw a line somewhere

I think it is the overall competition level ... top to bottom.
Every year in La Liga there are only two winners : Real and Barca. The EPL in contrast has better balance since the 'smaller' teams are able to retain players due to better revenue sharing within the EPL. I agree, the top teams in La Liga are dominant but overall La Liga has become boring/predictable due to that league fed dominance.

Lol. I always hear Epl fans say this (@bolded) and I just smile. Alright, Let me correct that impression tonight.

Since the inception of the Epl in 1992, 49 different teams have competed, only 6 teams have won the trophy.

Man United has totally dominated with 13Epl titles.

Chelsea have 5

Arsenal 3

Manchester City 2

Leicester 1

Blackburn 1.

For Laliga, since 1992 till date; 5 teams have won.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have dominated.

Barcelona have 12 Laliga titles

Real Madrid 8

ATM 2

Valencia 2

Deportivo Lacoruna 1

So bro, where is the so called COMPETITION and ANYBODY CAN WIN THE LEAGUE slogan? Shun and shove the impression that everybody and anybody can win the Epl, because it's a blatant lie. Stats don't lie.

Peruse on the aforementioned information, and next time before you argue, check your statistics. Don't just talk or type relying on hearsay.

And as for the popular saying that it's just Real Madrid and Barcelona, check head to head statistics. It's not even close.

Teams like Atletico Bilbao, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, have proven too good for the so called big teams in Epl each time they met in European compititions. Ask Chelsea, Manutd, Mancity, Arsenal, or Liverpool. Every one of them don collect at one point or the other. Lol

In the last 19 European ties between English and Spanish clubs, it's 17-2 to Spain on head to head.

Since 2000, Spanish clubs have won 26 European trophies, English clubs have won 7.

La Liga has the better teams, the better players and the better football. Every football statistic, proves one thing: Laliga dominance.

The Premier League has more flawed teams, leading to football that is arguably more pulsating, and more money, leading to it becoming a monument to excess and greed.

It's probably a better business but not a better football league. Not at all.

Epl teams have been struggling to match the laliga in terms of quality of teams and players, that's why over the years, they have spent ridiculously over £1.5billion pounds in player signings. And still counting..... Yet they are still millions of miles behind.

So my fellow football lover, I want to understand your definition of 'BETTER & COMPETITIVE'. If it means inferior in virtually every way then, yes, the Premier League is better and more competitive. Otherwise you'd have to go with Laliga.

Gracias!

U won't know cause u know nothing about football. Penalty atimes is a game of luck. Even greatest players like Ronaldo shy away from Penalties wen a cup is involved. We saw dat in just concluded Confederation Cup, UCL finals Chelsea vs Man utd.Morata is better to Lukaku in every aspect, I've seen Lukaku play some horrible Penalties. Even Man Utd head Coach chased after Morata first. It was wen he couldn't get Morata dat he bought his second target which is Lukaku. Or u know better to Mourinho??

Oh goodness gracious .... I stopped reading your thesis when I saw you going back that far in time.
The last decade has seen Real & Barca take over La Liga. That is why in the last 11 years these two teams have won the league 10 times. There's a reason why the EPL is the number one followed the league in the world despite not having the best teams in the world ..... BALANCE! It's the reason why they have the highest TV ratings. When Atletico Madrid won the league in 2014 they made less TV money from La Liga than the EPL team that got relegated (Cardiff city) grin
I know La Liga has adopted a fairer sharing of TV revenue sharing but till that manifests in more competitive games between top/bottom teams it remains to be seen.

Penalty is one of d hardest things in football. I bet u won't score one with 500 attempts. Many good players do miss Penalties. Spurs bought Sodaldo who scored only PKs dey sold him. I play football am talking from experience
Did you watch the goal Lukaku missed? Sir the game was really intense he actually wasn't even expecting the ball, if no be say e use right foot play the ball sure e go score.
Oga I play football also penalty ain't no big deal compared to an unexpected shoot
