GGRM promised a love story and a bitter sweet ending. From the look of things, here are my thoughts:
- It's quite evident that Jon and Dany are into themselves now so there we've the love story
- They're gonna have sex and Dany is gonna get pregnant
- Humans would win the war vs Night King(sorry NK fans) and Jon(promised prince) is gonna die in the process(his mission fulfilled)
- Dany will rule in his stead............ and there we've the bitter sweet ending

dany will most likely get knocked up by Jon,i agree. And i doubt the writers will kill her off IF that happens.....with Cersei probably losing her pregnancy soon, two miscarriages/killing off pregnant women in the span of 8 episodes will not just be cheap but also very sloppy writing from D&.
With that said, the above scenario doesn't bode well for Jon's chances of survival. GRRM is too sadistic to allow the top two characters have anything resembling a happy ending.
In the event dany doesn't get pregnant, i think she switches places with Jon and he'll be left to carry on the Targaryen line.

The living win the war, obviously, leaving us #TeamNightKing heartbroken and distraught but a lot of the main characters are taken out in the process. So, there you have it- My own version.

You misunderstand...... Saying 'basically' means he was barely alive and quickly fading before the children of the forest came. If I thought he was dead, I would've said so outright.
Now, he got an ice spear shoved through him and was gonna turn into a wight when he died....... The Obsidian only stopped the magic from spreading...... Not turn him into something totally different like the NK......
