I'm not trying to encourage promiscuity. But let's be honest here, why is Karo made to look like a loose person because she chose to sleep around? I mean, it's not like she forces people to sleep with her or that she charges people for sleeping with her. She's a nymphomaniac, she's got a HUGE sexual needs, so she goes about meeting that need, so long as it's in a legitimate and safe way. Why is she being slut-shame for expressing her sexuality? For satisfying her sexual need? Is it because she's a girl? So, it's okay for a guy to sleep around as he likes satisfy his sexual with as many girls as he likes, but if a woman does same, she's since in a bad light. And please don't give me that analogy of *a master key opening different locks and bla, bla, bla......* This doesn't looks fair.

And again, just because she sleeps around doesn't means she can't love. I've heard of prostitutes who found love.

Karo was bold and expressed her true feelings towards Basket. She didn't hid it. She took the bold step and told Basket her mind. But Basket turned her down.

Scenarios like this, is why most girls generally shy away from making a move on a guy they have been admiring/crushing on. They instead chose to be quiet and probably die in silence, hoping upon hope that the guy will see the signs she's showing and make a move for her.

Quite an interesting question, I must say. personally, I little wrong in what Karo is doing. we're just over-dramatising her action. she's living her life, satisfying her sexual need, which God endow in us as humans. we've no right to judge her. the only person she's going to give account as to how she lives her life, use her body, is God who created her, not any human being.

furthermore, the attitude of Basket towards Karo as regards calling her loose, is quite nauseating. it's important to note that this same Basket was like a loose pipe, plugging his pipe into every holes he sees, sleeping around. before he changed. now he's changed and suddenly he feels he has the moral rectitude to judge Karo and call her loose.

Pftt.

I see little wrong in what Karo is doing, so long as she's not in anyway harming anyone.

I noticed that as well. Especially since Basket and
Black aren't really better than her, going by what their wayward ways in the past. Rhoda is not really different too, in fact worse because she knows how close Basket and Black are.

A story can be criticized too. The author doesn't learn from positive criticisms, sure he might appreciate them but he should be able to welcome the negative ones as well and learn from it
