Submitted paper application May 5th
Passports picked up today
2 years visa approved for all 3 of them

applied for a 6months visiting visa at the canada vfs center lagos on the 26th april 2017,did my biometric the same day.I applied for a visiting visa because the program i am going for is a 6month internship program in chaplaincy. Forward to this afternoon i received this.

I mailed the lagos office and they replied me yesterday that they are processing 28th may...but it seems to me that a number of may applicants here still haven't got a response yet..unless they hv but are all being silent.

May 28th? Wow... But how come a lot are yet to be responded too, those before the 28th? One thing I know is..they do their thing, same forum @mesh03 updated that his mum submitted May 5 and was approved 4th July n just yesterday another update came in from an application with same date May 5.... So I believe they know what they are doing. When u start to think about their process u are bound to go seriously depressed, so let's chill. It is well

I just got an email from the lagos embassy as an update to my last week's email to them, (applied May 19th for my parents to come visit me)

"Good day,
Your email refers. Please be advised that your application has been finalized. The VFS office will be contacting you shortly in order for you to pick up your passport and documents"

Trusting that the result will be positive.
VFS hasn't sent a text. I will wait till next week Tuesday cos of the holiday to contact VFS.

gcms.com. It costs $23 but since you are in Canada its $5. Takes 30days for people requesting from outside Canada. Not sure how long it takes if you are applying from within.

Secondly, i submitted my int'l passport alongside my application on the 23rd of June but now have got an emergency trip to the Philippines. Please house, i need an advise on what to do since they are pretty short of processing those of my submission date. URGENT!

I applied May 9th for my mum and she did bio-metrics on the 19th. Got her visa on July 5th. You can send an email.

Passport picked up today by my parents two years visa granted.

I haven't seen my dad in five years, so yeah this is exciting!
