BBM is a good example of what a bad management can do to a good product. The mistake they made was under estimating the competition. They should have made BBM available for IPhone and Android immediately they realised that those platforms were becoming popular. They released their app too late.

I still use my bbm. I have friends who prefer to chat me on bbm to WhatsApp. It always surprises people around when a ping comes in. They ask me if people still use bbm.

Funny thing is that I just deleted the app from my last night because I wanted to create more storage space for my phone and can't remember when last I used the BBM.

Yes. BBM and Blackberry Phone is the most secured phone I have used. Its messages are encrypted. I dont use any other phone except BB.
