Crime and violence have taken the order of the day in this country. Poor economy in the country is the cause of all these. In my neighbourhood, I can't count number of guys and girls who don't have something meaningful doing and likelihood is that, percentage of these may take up arms one day and the result is what we are seeing here. God have mercy.

Armed robbers yesterday attacked passengers on transit along Kaduna/GWARI Highway.Two Toyota Hiace buses(Kwara Express) arrived Gen. Hosp. B/GWARI with 2 dead bodies who are victims of the attack.Several others sustained varying degrees of gun shot injuries.

This has been the experience and occurrence almost on daily basis along the Highway.The government and security agencies should map out measures in tackling the hoodlums who always attack helpless passengers along this route.
