Well that's how we lose our best brains all because of the ineptitude of the wasteful government we have had over the years. The best black doctors In the U.S are Nigerians. Do you think they would come back to work in Nigeria where they would be owed salaries and worse working conditions plus their lives cannot be guaranteed because of Fulani herdsmen, kidnappings and assassins. Anybody who dies for his country is a fool, gaskyia. Nationalism is not built automatically, nationalism comes from the fact that the citizens see those in government do their all to better their lives. Trump might be controversial with his travel ban, plus his push to out immigrants, buh the truth is thst he does that because he loves his country and do not want it to be infested with all kinds of miscreants all in the guise of settling in immigrants. We are still not ready for development 75 Likes 3 Shares |

Coming from a barrage of hot 7-9 courses from OAU, 4 courses is nothing, and coupled with the fact that she's naturally good and in a very conducive environment for learning, it's safe to say it's expected. But then again she would have finished with a first class in OAU, if you are exceptional, you are exceptional any where. 31 Likes 1 Share |

Just take a look at the difference in the number of courses taken at the two schools. 4 courses per semester in the university of Herdfortshire studying her major not some random yeye borrowed courses. That was how I saw an English literature text my sister was reading in HND 1 and I was like, seriously ? Someone studying banking and finance in her third year still offering English literature, to what end? I remember doing as much as 7 courses in 400l and research project work. Yet you continue to wonder why people graduate with first class in Universities abroad and the same people pull 2.1 or 2.2 in Nigeria. There you have it, the fact speaks for itself. Congrats to Folafoluwa. 45 Likes 3 Shares |

Oh my country! But who do "US" this thing I'm so sure she would have just graduated with a distinction(going by her initial CGPA) without setting any record if she had stayed back thanks to our ever frustrating educational system and lecturers who have sworn never to give you an "A" They bombard you with so many borrowed courses that is irrelevant to your field When I tell people I can't wait to leave this country for the three arms of government, some of them always come up with the cliche of "who will make it right if we all leave" My late Grand Parents stayed back and fought to make it work and here we are still trying to make it work But I'm not ready to let this country ruin me. One country can not come and kill me. When your country forces you to venture into bet9ja, then my brethren you really need to leave ASAP. For everyone who has the means and also desires to relocate, Pls don't think twice about it - JUST GO INFACT RUN and if possible RUN with your FAMILY MEMBERS. And whoever knows this rare gem should advice her to stay back and practice there (if she gets called and she really does stand the chance) Brain drain? Yes!!! But what have we achieved with the amount of scholars who came back after their studies? A lot end up with stunted growth in their various fields due to the inefficiencies of our "Selfless Leaders" I just want her to be in: A place she'll be able to practice true judiciary without anybody hunting for her life. A place she wouldn't be blackmailed with her past in order not to carry on with a case. A place where she will not have to worry about the tag that "All Lawyers Are Liars" A place she will not need to dance to the tune of politicians to make a name and a living This country weak me! 37 Likes 6 Shares |

TomjoTM:chances of her finishing with a first class in O.A.U would have been very slim.. that her year one result is not really exceptional in O.A.U. year one GP is always like that. m so sure, many of her colleagues then would have better GP in that 100L 14 Likes 1 Share |

TomjoTM: I didn't attend OAU, but in my school I had friends whose 100level result was 4.50 and more....Guess what? At the end of 400level the one with the highest was 4.12....A good result nonetheless, but what happened along the line? ASUU happened, some boring unnecessary courses happened, some lecturers whom you refused to be their errand boy happened, some wicked assignment with deadlines happened, and living in an unconducive environment off campus because it's the closest to school happened too. 23 Likes 4 Shares |

To be frank and factual series of gift and talent are wasting away through ASUU strike palava. I just praise the beautiful lady. She really distinguished herself and do well in international standard. What am just seeing here is a dream and glory come. I pray for more success for. Upon ASUU strike issues,it didn't stopped from not achieving her dreams in life. ASUU strike has done bad things more than good things in Nigeria. No way ASUU strike won't delay destinies in Nigeria. Not to talk of Nigerian universities doing us badly. All is well. |

BlueRayDick:you really make a lot of senses here. To be frank our university senates should seat on the additional of courses that's not relevant in the course form. Borrowing courses from other department isn't help any matter here. Some courses are so hard for you to get distinctions not to talk of fail that particular course. I think our syllabus should be reviewed. With this development our degree are not having any value again. May God help us. 2 Likes 1 Share |

9japrof:hmmmm you really make a lot of sense here. You really nailed it at the head. Most of our bad institutions and poor lecturers leads to poor and half graduates our tertiary institutions are producing. Most Nigerians that seek further education in their various university of choice of admission are pretty doing well. Infact am highly impressed with the lady achievement. She didn't allow ASUU strike to stop her destiny. I can't wait to see her throw back pictures. I know she will have slim by that time. Now she's robust. Pretty lady with good brain. God bless her. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ADENIKETINA2015: Dont deceive yourself.. A lot of lazy people with third class will cling unto this, its not because the course was simpler. If the cost of your education is over 10Million per year, the laziness and distractions will go immediately. After paying that or even if its scholarship to maintain it; things like sex, cults and other stuff will be at the bottom of your priorities. 6 Likes 1 Share |

I acknowledged her persistence for keeping it up. Our education system is way demanding and tasking coupled with so many activities on and off campus. You will be groomed like a soldier going to face Boko Haram. Well, I will say it's been helping many of our products to easily thrice when they find themselves in that favorable environment. A friend of mine who was a low baller back in Eksu is currently topping his class at a Uni somewhere in Texas. Most people are not just too good with pressure, but when they tends to find that conducive environment they will thrive by all means. Maybe not as the best, definitely gonna be competing... 5 Likes 1 Share |

Nice work babe However, I see studying abroad as more of an issue of finance /scholarship. Anyone who can get 6 credits including maths and English by their self can graduate with at least 2.1 from any western tertiary institution. 1 Like 1 Share |
