Here in Ethiopia, Muslims being laid by Ahmed Gragn of Adal sultanate in the 16th century AD had tried to erase the great Christian civilization of Ethiopia. Those Muslims,

- converted many to Islam
- destroyed many invaluable beautiful churches, monasteries and Christian texts that would undoubtedly have added to the current 10 UNESCO heritage sites in Ethiopia (the largest number in Africa)

The pain those Muslims inflicted here can still be felt now.

So, coming to my question, did Islam tried or succeed in destroying your country civilization/s?

Look at what is happening in the northern part of Nigeria; the well planned systematic genocide committed against Christians coupled with the fact that we have an Islamist as president whose number dream is to have Nigeria become an Islamic country.

Just Imagine a world without Islam, there would be no conflict in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Northern Nigeria, Kenya, CAR, Cameroon, Chad, Niger and many other places.

1.There would be no Islamic terrorist attacks and threats in Africa, Europe, US, Australia, Canada, China and Russia. There would be no influx of Muslim migrants and refugees in the West.

2.There would be no Jews and Arabs conflicts, Religious Apartheid in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, Iran, Turkey, Brunei, Indonesia, Northern Nigeria, Gaza, Morocco, Tunisia, and many other Muslim countries where the Non-Muslims faces persecution just for being Non-Muslims, in the Gulf Arab States their citizens are forbidden to practice Non-Islamic faith and Atheist is declared as a terrorist.

3.There would be no totalitarian Monarchy dictators and theocratic Governments in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Turkey, Mauritania, UAE, Bahrain, Iran, Sudan, Brunei and other Muslim Countries.

4.There would be no Islamic Jihadists movement such as Isis, Al-Qaeda, Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Isis, Boko Haram, Abu Sayyaf, Houthis, Hezbollah, Taliban, Al-Shabaab and other Islamic terrorist Groups.

5.There would be no movement to impose Islamic Sharia law worldwide. horrific Beheading, Flogging, Amputation, Stoning, Crucifixion, Gender Apartheid suffering of women and discrimination and extra-judicially killing of the Non-Muslims in the Muslim World.

6.There would be Separation of Religion from Government without Islam. Freedom of Speech, Press Freedom and Freedom of Religion.The Bloggers and Cartoonist will enjoy the freedom to mock any Ideology.

7.There will be no Airplane hijackers, Shoe bombers, Airport, Malls, underground train station, Churches and Temples Islamic suicide bombers and attackers.

Sad to read it, but truly said.

Destructions had and still being caused by Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Pagan, Christianity, Atheism and other religion/belief followers, but the destructions caused by Muslims is on another level. I won't see peace in Islam for the most part. But this doesn't mean that there aren't Good Muslims.

In the 7th century AD, Prophet Mohammed sent his daughter and followers to Axumite Empire of Ethiopia, so as for them to escape the persecution by pagan Arabs in Arabia. The Ethiopians treated them well and if it wasn't for them, Islam would had ended before it even begins.

Did this mad behavior related with economic or religious (Jihad) or both and other situations? It's very confusing.

Difficult question. . .I think one of the reasons why ET is not mixing with Djbouti is because Djbouti is a muslim state. What do you think?

When you say mixing, is it mixing between the ppl in those 2 countries or just forming a single political entity?

If it's the former, then Djibouti is majority populated by Somalians and Afars and those 2 ppl are also found in ET and some of them had mixed with Christian ETns.

If it's the last, then it's inevitable that Djibouti will be absorbed to Ethiopia for mutual economic benefit (sea port ownership for us and agriculture for them). Djibouti is our friend, so no need for Eritrea.
