After about a month of waiting after the IMAX premiere, Marvel’s Inhumans have arrived on
TV. The Inhumans property has been troubled for many years now. It was first billed to appear in the phase three of the MCU, but for reasons best known between the two bosses at loggerhead – Ike Permulter and Kevin Feige – the project never moved forward. Later it was announced the show will premiere on TV, ABC, instead, with an eight episode order for a short and concise story. Then came the real issue… from the release of the first trailer to all the screenings that followed, the show was accused of being cheap, and Marvel of cutting corners. Add that to the array of lacklustre reviews from critics, of which the show has a very poor standing on Rotten Tomato. To cut long story short, Marvel Inhumans makes Iron Fist (season one) look good. After watching the two episodes premiere myself, trying hard to avoid being biased by premeditated views of others, I can confidently say the show isn’t so bad.

Yes, I enjoyed it, and I’m looking forward to the third episode. This may or may not come as a surprise to many, but it’s my own view.
The costumes are cheap, very cheap, and unimpressive. I had a big problem with
Lockjaw, as the CGI used to portray his existence kept rubbing on my face, announcing it was of low quality. But I tried to overlook all these, and keep an eye on the actors and the story.

The show boasts a very good cast. Take Iwan Rheon’s Maximus away (because ‘Game Of Thrones’ has shown us how good he is as an actor), I really got into Anson Mount’s Black bolt. For a character who didn’t utter a word, that says so much about the actor. Serinda Swan’s Medussa also impressed, enough for me to trace her TV background and realize she was Zatanna on Smallville. The bulk of the actors that made up the royal family were good enough, I enjoyed watching them move on screen.
While the first ten minutes of the premiere wasn’t that impressive, the show soon really gets a hang over itself, and successfully establishes its plot. I do hope the story improved as it continues, as only word of mount (positive) can resurrect its dead bones.

I've read the reviews. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is way better, no doubt. I said the show isn't as bad as it's made out to be... not that it's an awesome one.

It's not as bad its worse ....the acting is wack... The low budget props are terrible.... C'mon I cant be the only one who finds Gorgons goat shoes legs hilarious ...horrible waste of precious data ...well call me when it gets better if it gets better...unlikely tho...

I must say, the third episode is a huge improvement from the double-episode premiere. Though not the best, it's bearable to watch.
Something in me tells me I might be wasting my time with the show, but it's just eight episodes.

And the 4th episode is still here. Still same. The plot isn't really advancing, not much sense to it. We're half way through the service... Hallelujah!

This is new. Compared to what AoS had done with the Inhumans, plus its rich history in the comics, I'd say those are some of the things that made it a disappointment. The costumes and abilities in the Arrowverse are bearable, far more, compared to those here.

Well, Your opinion but not fact. And i only watched some few episodes of The Flash, it was everything outside your assertion too and has some mad reviews and rating on IMDb.

Couldn't agree more. I thought it was just me, I couldn't understand what all the hype was about. Twas also boring.

Inhumans we......ll I still hold out hope for it. Their costumes and make up look cheap, YES. But gorgons legs and the guy with glowing eyes look especially ridiculous, how can they not see it? Otherwise amazing cast and a storyline that I hope will be explosive. I love the storyline but will still rate gifted a little bit ahead tho.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, the first season is almost over. It has four episodes to go. No more hope.

To me I'll take Inhumans any day any time, not those crap dc series like flash, arrow and the worst super girl....

Sorry op but I beg to differ, marvel inhumans was a complete disappoint for me. I had high hopes for d show after seeing agents of shield season 2 but i am kinda very disappointed so far. The story line & costume sucks, as for the cast I'll give them a par. And secondly I don't get people comparing the TV show to DC's flash & arrow. Flash & arrow are by far 10 times better than this crappy TV show. I think d mistake d writers made was separating inhumans from Agents of shield timeline, they should look up on how DC linked all their TV shows ( flash, arrow,legend of tomorrow & Supergirl) in a single timeline. It makes their shows have a strong base and also makes crossover shows possible.

Still having problem identifying with any of the actors in this series. I thought want max did was actually the way forward from the first 2 eepisodes,even the inhuman on earth now are now seeing it that it's not that bad of an idea to come to earth but I sense that thet sha want to make max that bad of a person that we all will want to b killed for now I can actually rate it a 6 inrespective of the complain cGi n custom u all have been complaining about but for prospect shannara chronicles season one was like this and now an kind of feeling the first 2 epds of the second sseason
