Pkn price is currently about N125k per ton with the best price of pko being N350k per ton. Other factors to consider is availability of pkn as it is scarce now. To have regular supply of 75 tons you need you pay as high as N130k. Finally put in cost of power as I doubt they have regular power in Ekiti unlike oshogbo. All these will shrink your profit. I have a pko factory in Ondo so I am talking from experience.

The company you supply in Lagos will buy in tons. 1125 liters of pko is 1 ton. At N350k per ton a liter is N 311 per liter. If you get 440 liter per ton from 1 ton of pkn, total pko revenue is N137k per ton. Your profit margin is about N7k to N12k depending on if you buy pkn for N125k or N130k. Cost of power is not there. We spend an average of N6k on diesel to crush 1 ton of pkn. Of course you sell your pkc which brings in an average of N18k revenue per ton of pkn. In summary to write you make N75k per ton of pkn on pko alone is a fallacy. You make like N20k to max of N40k per ton of pkn (from sale of pko, pkc and sludge). You can easily make a loss if your oil is short whether as a result of pkn quality, machine efficiency or operator negligence.
