No atheists is out to attack religion. To the atheists, religion is like a myth or superstition. And holding such as truth is very appalling. Letting people realise this is what you wrongly understood as attack.

The idea of evolution(which says that humans and apes both came from a common ancestor and NOT humans evolved from ape) is not an atheist idea. It is a scientific theory.

To remind you, atheism is simply the disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods. Any other thing outside this definition isn't atheism.
