I've not finished mass effect 3 but i heard it has a tear-jerker ending. But of all hands i've played i think the one that ended sadly was metal gear solid integral (ps one) every new ending was sad based on the genius story telling Hideo kojima

I was thinking why would anyone feel bad because a game character died. Then I remembered when I would loose a wingman in call of duty. Literally couldn't go on playing anymore.

It should be there if you looked at it from those surgeon's perspective,The ending message suggested that Ellie has supposedly filled the void that Sarah(joel' daughter left).If you watches the ending cutscene you would see he lied when Ellie asked about the experiment...For baba mind pikin don land.

Even before the surgeon you will find a note in the game saying the operation will leave the victim dead, it was sad mehn especially the part where she killed those cannibals
