Very very close just like teatop.. There is actually a registration plate attached, but it is all covered in mud. The key word here being "mud".

The driver may have left the mud there deliberately to avoid speeding ticket from speed or red light cameras. It would also be difficult to identify the driver or owner of the vehicle if it was used in a crime scene.

In winter, there are lots of snow and mud. A police car driving behind the car would have pulled him or her over and promptly issue a ticket.

Other common ticketable offences are:
-Burnt out tail lights/signal lights.
-Not properly clearing the snow on your vehicle (unsecured load or driving a motor vehicle with an obstruction on its windshield/tail lights).

Please do not waste your time with the Nigeria International license. It is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. It cannot even serve as a valid ID card. (Not surprised, it is issued by the Nigerian police). I got one, then I realised it was valid for just a year and very crappy. It is a waste of your money jare. Do not bother with that blue thing. Your Nigeria license and FRSC letter is all you need oremi.

It was smooth and straight forward. Luckily for us, my wife had approached @freeradical's wife for "expo".The same officer attended to both of us and fortunately for us, he asked the same question and we answered like a "Boss". We landed safely in Calgary the next morning and no immigration check again. A week and few days here, SIN done, got phone lines (freedom mobile) accounts (checking, savings and credit card) opened, alberta health card was delivered to our address today. Getting kids registered for school on Wednesday( you make appointment in advance in this school close to our home). So far, So good...

Hi, you can find accommodation via kijji.ca. What most people do from Nigeria is to secure a place through AirBnB, land and live there for a while and look for permanent accommodation. So you are initially able to live in some comfort and are able to take your time to find a suitable place.

There are lots of accounting job in Winnipeg where I am, that first job is the hardest. But once you get it it makes everything easier.
I'm going to give you my husband's experience. He got his CPA through MRA, got his first job after 3 months. During this time he attended workshops and stuff. He had 10 years of accounting experience in Nigeria,5 in full cycle accounting. When he got here he was told by his friends to go and hand his suit and tie that in Canada you cannot get an office job. He refused to give up and kept searching. He saw all manner of things. Some recruiter didn't know we have university in Nigeria and are wondering how a Nigerian could have the CPA designation. His first job was Accounts payable. He stayed there for 6 months then applied for an intermediate accounting job. He was successful but they weren't sure so they gave him a term contract. 3 months in they made him permanent. He is now a financial manager in the same company. All within 3 years.
