I'm shocked too, we all saw them at 2013 and we all attested to the fact that they were truly young, now people are saying nonsense about their age, all these oyinbo boys playing the current u-17 if they were Nigerians people will doubt their ages most of them don get bear bear finish

It's just so easy for people to pull out ages off their asses, slam them on players they don't like.

More like dessers vs abraham to me for 3rd spot. the top 2 are dinning with putin barring injuries.

When Tega comes to the party he will be the most current and in form striker that we have.

You really think he will.be No.3

A KC lacking confidence and not in form will go ahead of him. Add to that a limited skill set for an out an out striker. Look at it this way, if KC was in Swansea would he be scoring goals and leading the forward line

Then imagine Tega at Leicester leading the forward line with his aerial ability, shooting with both feet and strong hold up play. Add to that in form striker, I think he would be making a powerful impression.

Like I always say club form will impact on national team form for good or for bad.

I don't have problem with any player's age but I just want to set things straight. grin

By the way, what did you do to defend your fellow Nigerian brother when chrisooblog made his ridiculous exaggerations against Ajagun's age to bring him down? grin

Abi you no see?

If he claimed Ajagun is granfafa among babies because he didn't do MRI then is it not also right to point out the fact that Wilfred Ndidi failed MRI test, oh ha!? grin

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Don't you think so? grin

To me, I barely have time reacting to every news anyone brings on here.

It was obvious he knows nothing about what he was talking about, how could he assert that Ajagun was 25 in the '99 U-17 WC??

It was obvious it wasn't same Ajagun we're talking about, so I ignored.

I haven't really seen Ajagun play, from what I've seen, he's still a young man.

I still maintain you're over exaggerating as regards Ndidi's age.

you know the truth but you don't want to accept it.

Ok like you pointed out, the sorry lot we have now cannot lead our attack in Russia, look left right and center we don't have anyother option. Tammy isn't coming, it is not written in any prophetic hall that Dessers will be a hit, even if he is a hit we still need to come to the world cup with 3-4 out and out strikers, so why not accept the tested and trusted guys? I will take the Liga2 ahead of the bottom half of the Belgian League, infact I can argue, after watching most of their games, tha Lugo will hold their own against Gent, so Ike Uche is not in a backwater league. Paulinho is still the corner stone of Brazil's brilliant world cup qualifying campaign...from the Chinese League!!! So much for the Chinese league being on par with the Championship

Lugo is second on the league and Ramon Azeez has started and finished all their matches so far.

How do you see his game? grin

Not exactly.

New coach but which coach it could literally be out of the frying pan into the fire.

What if they get Sam Allardyce, or someone similar then it could be all over for KC.

The issue is not Shakespeare but the inability of KC to adapt very quickly. All good dancers change thier step once the music changes, KC has not been able to change his step to a new tune.

I'm not a football pundict but from my little observation i feel if a player can't adapt to the styles and flows of his new team and the manager can't find a way to utelize the player's core value to the advantage of the the team, the best thing for such player is to look elsewhere...

Salah, Kelvin de bryne, Falcao were not at their best when they played for Chelsea Fc but got their vibes back the moment they left Stamford Bridge

Raheem Sterling is firing from all cylinders for Mancity presently courtesy of Pep who is squeezing the best out of him.

There are good dancers who can't change their steps when the music is changed.

i appreciate your points raised but i have doubts if the 3 gentlemen you mentioned are the solution. first of osaze is no no. not because of his age but his cruciate ligament injury. this has effectively done him. before that injury he hadn't lost much pace but afterwards he really declined badly to the extent he couldn't even cope in the championship now he's in indonesia. let's leave him to wind down his career in peace.
the issues i have with ike uche are more of a tactical nature. to put it bluntly ike is a selfish striker who thrives on service but the way rohr's team sets up i'm not too sure he will be a perfect fit. plus in all the years i've been watching uche i wouldn't describe him as a selfless runner who will exploit the channels to free up his team mates. with martins if it's the same guy i saw under keshi and oliseh then honestly we don't need him but if his game has picked up out of the three he's the one i would still give a chance

I have sentimental nostalgia for Osaze that has made me clamour for him.

In reality he did not recover from that cruciate ligament rupture. I had a ACL rebuild about 6 years ago and yes I recovered but I wasn't prepared to put the extra work or risk it again so list at least a second on the 100 metres.

However, I do believe Obagoal is still flying and he has been the definition of consistency over the past 10 years. He deserves a call up and a few friendlies.

Rubbish.

Ola Aina is 21 but he looks older than Kelechi.

I can guarantee that if he was born in Nigeria, people will say, he is 30. Thank God, his age is verifiable.

This is how Nigerians go on foreign websites to cast doubts on the ages of their players.

THATS A BIG FAT LIE.

Until you see these boys up close and personal your vision will be distorted by the TV view which is not completely accurate.

I have seen KC up close as well as Ola, the latter I have been seeing since he was 15.

I'll like to c his chemistry with teammates in a green white green. same 4 Dessers. Theyre both good, but i dont fancy pressing pause 4 us. He'd better have a smart and good reason 4 it. 4 now make he dey hin lane.

Kc would catch his form back.

Kelechi has been in the system since he was young as well.. Played for Nigeria under 13 and under 15.. Same with Awoniyi and Chidera Ezeh, The pictures of small KC of just a few years back are still available. And yes, facially Ola does look older but we know, he isn't necessarily.

Ekpolo formally of Barca is 20-21 but based on his face, you'd think he is older.

The point is simple. You can not tell a person's age by their face.

Facially, i look very young for my age. I sometimes teach undergraduates and some boys in my class look older than me. These are kids between 18-23

Yeah, I've seen watched Girona games because of him, and seeing him play for just 10-15 mins.

This definitely not the Kayode of last season.
