If by the 31st of November 2017 your proposed Department has not still conducted its test, then forget about anything relating to a Departmental Test because Admission list will likely be out latest by early parts of December this year. For me, am no longer expecting a Departmental Test from the Sociology Department, I believe they will use the EPT score to select those to be admitted.

I received the same message in my email as well but nothing on the portal yet. I think they'll update it soon. It's probably a technical glitch.

From the look of things I do not think the Sociology Department in particular will conduct its test. If there is no information regarding the Departmental Test from the Sociology Department by the 31st of November 2017 then I do not think there will be another test, and I believe it applies to many other Departments.

oga stop saying what you don't know..I am currently a post graduate student ..we did our own test on December 10..some Dept's like CLA did on 15...even January some were called for test...

Things do not always go same way all the time, this year may be different. For me, I will give up hope on any Departmental Test holding particularly from the Sociology Department after 31st of November 2017.
