Who said his definition of pretty is pointy nose and a fair face? He didn't say that so why are did you immediately go to that as his definition??
You took his statement and twisted it to mean what you want then acted like that's what he meant.
Don't put your projections on him,

All Igbo women don't have a fair face with pointy nose.

Also, If his definition of pretty is a fair face with a pointy nose then that is his definition of pretty, it does not have to be imposed by colonial masters, it may just be what he prefers.

With all that said there are beautiful women in every tribe.
