The interview went smoothly for me at Abuja centre. The time on my invitation slip was 8am, but they start bit late due to Verifications. Interview starts at around 11am. Total number of participants was around 70. Those interviewed today in Abuja centre are mechanical, elect/elect, Geologist, chemistry, and Accounting.

what documents were required for verification in Lagos for GT. was it just degree, nysc, ssce, birth certificate? any other document?

I will advise you go with your birth certificate, in my center, they made notes against people's names who didn't have birth certificates and also those whose documents were incomplete.

I haven't heard of any Lagos applicant with a pending status. Most (if not all) are Abuja applicants.

Pending status is different from portal closed.

So the first process is screening and verification of results. After which you are directed to the interview panel, the questions are nothing out of the ordinary for anyone that knows his onions . Mine was basically about the role of the position i applied for. it's also worthy to note that the process is well organized and it's not your typical government agency recruitment. I'll just say that for those that are yet to do theirs, you have nothing to worry about and all the best btw.
