Tax on the other hand is different. It is the amount you pay to a governing body which they didn't work for.

Interest is commanded to be taken from non-israelites when the children of Israel lend them money. The verse you quoted in no way stated that it is tax the children of Israel collected.

Tax is what muslims collect from non-muslims. They call it jizya, which is the amount a non-muslim pays in submission to a Muslim authority just to save his head.

As for the second verse you quoted, I'm glad you quoted an old testament verse and tried to use a new testament verse to show how they contradict each other. That Deuteronomy was part of the law Moses gave to the Israelites. Jesus has shown the world that the world can do better than that.
