weather is much cooler especially early in the morning, car batteries on their last lap will give up easily.

If your car does not start due to a failing battery, replace it.

Pls how long is a good battery supposed to last on the average?

Also, kindly share your opinion on how rugged Odyssey 2005 upwards is.

I change batteries every 1.5 yrs. I don tire.

The one I bought Oct last year is already showing some unfriendly signs.

My brother! Abeg no mind Dem all. If u dey listen to their voices u fit enter lagoon oo! Many never even drive a single car b4 for their life. I'm currently using a Volvo xc90 & it's sweeter than the Camry I used before it. Got a friend using d saloon too. It's not costly nor difficult by any means to maintain. Better still, write down d faulty parts and head straight to the market and ask. D fact that it's an older version doesn't mean d parts ain't gonna be there anymore. Do d market survey yourself and then make your decision. Well done.

I agree. One of our cars is the model he wants to work on. I know it is cheaper to maintain than the other cars we've used. One other thing is to get a mechanic who has experience with the 240GL. They are an old breed and were largely trained by the company that imported the cars till the 80s.

I can specifically vouch for 3 batteries, the first one is ankor or so red carton with yellow eagle head drawn on it 3years plus running on Honda accord DC with 75AH rating. It was bought 12k in 2014

Abro jet 62AH running in a 2006 Toyota corolla one and a half years now no issue. Like torquise blue carton. It was bought 30k in 2016

The last and sure one is the Koba battery made in Korea a 75AH Ba3 used in my 2000 Toyota sienna It was bought in 2015 though by my brother in law and it has never disappointed or failed before. It has been used to Crank a car till it was weak. I just popped it back in my car and it worked once.

I also used it to queue for fuel for 26hrs starting my engine like 50times in 30secs interval and it never was weak. It was bought 22k in 2015

All the batteries were bought at ebute meta around abeokuta Street.
