There are no set times anymore, the trains and tracks are always breaking down hence they operate when there's availability now...you might even have to change Their website is redundant! 1 Like |

Bhamus you never mentioned where you lived. Anyway ,Iddo is one and the last terminus, that's if you are living within island and next terminus is at Agege, it's almost 2 days journey ,take off time 7pm. Prices depends whether you prefer first class ,special seat or just a comfortable seat....between #3k and there about....... safe journey, enjoy your ride!! 1 Like |

DisGuy: This is one reason why I often get frustrated with Nigerian officials. All the trains should be running at full speed right now, to cushion the effects of the fuel scarcity, and also to maximise the trips to be made during this yuletide season. Is it that officials of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) did not realise that every December, normally throws up a large number of travellers? For goodness sake, what does it take to update a website regularly? Why hasn't this been done, before now? Later, they will start making noise up and down and start claiming they are fully compliant with Servicom. The worst set are the intra-city rail trips. Why can't there be an app or a mobile customer service line, which prospective passengers can dial, to get current and real time info., on trips, departure times and arrival times? If I live in Epe in Lagos for instance, there is no way I can get info on timings for train services to Agege for example, unless I take a 2-hour journey to physically get to Iddo terminus from Epe. Why?? These channels can be set up and managed by private SME companies, for a small fee. A USSD code can also be deployed, to allow prospective passengers get an update on the status of trains nationwide, by charging subscribers a minimal rate. And it is not rocket science. Despite the govt's cashless policy, there are still no POS terminals at any of their ticketing counters in Lagos. So if you want to use your debit card to pay for your ticket in their terminus, it would not be possible to do so! May God deliver us from mediocre public servants, in this country! 1 Like |

Vivere: I checked the profile for the ICT director to see if i can send him an email. His profile has also not been updated for a long time smh RAPHAEL ODANG They should at least have a number people can call to check train availability if they can't be bothered to update their website 1 Like |

DisGuy: Exactly!! I mean, what does it take to update a website? Any smart ICT-compliant youth corper can do it for a small fee, for the railway corporation. As for calling a dedicated line, to get info about train services, bros you go wait tire. In this era, when SIM cards are almost free, and phone lines are so easy to acquire and install, the NRC management is still so clueless about how to install one, that would be beneficial to the public! |
