do not mind that I omitted the marks (ami) its not just available on my device, hence why I made the story short.
I must say I was compelled to write this as I noticed that all the stories on this section are always in English.... we shouldnt neglect our mothertongues as well as the coming genearations will soon find it difficult to relate in their natural language soo of this trend continues..... Tiwantiwa...
Abeg help me push this to fp...

PS
how can I put appropriate marks on the letters, somebody tell me, so that I can make the sequel more inviting and easy to read for readers

There's only one word for this piece, brilliant! Wish I can help you with the ami stuff but I have no idea too. By the way, I read in the story that a male cat does not land on its back(around that incantation area), is this true illicit?

This is the English version titled Down falls

It suffices that the Elder perished here than the Elder was captured here. That is the name of the Medicine man that divined for the Chief, the chief also known as Down who sleeps in a basket as his leg obstructs the street, he was the patron of the tortoise that cultivates the sky and the son of a bitch.

The medicine man told him to pour libations, to the Earth. Should he not fall. But he didn't.

So It happened that the chief later eavesdropped and learnt that his wife, the one who ties a hundred wrappers and none reaches her knees was seeing the sprite that owns a well but bathes with spittle... The Moon was their witness. Down was irritated but Ifa warned him of limitations.

So he went to consult his alter ego under the river that just flows and to hunt an alibi where neither the Sun nor the Moon penetrates, it was so dark and eerily silent, you could only hear yourself meditate and maybe Oluweri the river goddess would counsel you... Oluweri keeps a pet, Dark Secrets.

Then he goes to the house he built with cotton wool from where his wife had recently absconded. Oh no! She should have left her head behind, after all, he paid for it.
The moon giggled outside where he (Down) ate Cayenne pepper and invokes Sango who sent flames to consume the lovers and veils the sky.
He raised his head and shoulders and levitates, he was going to surprise the lunatic Moon, teach it to mock, kick it around...
He was musing as he rose.
The World and the Earth watched. Just as he peaked the highest mountain, the clouds shifts and he beheld the immensity of the Moon.
He was upset.
The Moon stared him down as he grabbed the clouds futilely and he fell because they were slippery...
He remembered the Oracle and promised not to fall the way he was, he pronounced the mantra for transfiguration and became a Downpour.
So the Chief also known as Down fell on the World and the Earth...

If you have a cat as a pet, then you will know that the statement is true.

Throw a cat up with its back facing the ground and it will land on its fours.
