So, I was invited to LFC today and as the pastor was set to minister in the pulpit, all from nowhere, I saw two hefty men in suits stand before the congregation till the end of sermon. I've been wondering really, of what value is this in the house of God? La-la, Pls tell me. I'm curious |

 Criticism is the food of those without understanding! The Church is a place of absolute orderliness and decency. The two guys standing in front of the altar are members of the church's security unit. They are to ensure orderliness is maintained and that no one tries to disrupt the service or cause distraction. Secondly, there are times some members will want to leave their seat and run to the altar to have a physical contact with the pastor while preaching, also there are times even strangers walk into the church and straight to the altar wanting to cause distraction, those two guys and others sitted make sure that does not happen. So they are not there to protect the pastor, they are the ones who needs the pastor's protection. 3 Likes |

Those men are his personal aides. Some members who are overwhelmed may want to run and touch the pastor atimes,but the are there generally to protect the pastor. 1 Like |

Lol na formilarite, after sunday service they go follow am go house abi when him wan woooo him wife they go still stay their with am inside room. Just like my pastor after sunday service, I dey always see am dey wake about with non of his guard |

Initially they were just there to help out the pastor on minor errands, eg transferring messages between the pastor and someone in particular within the audience or podium, assisting those who fall under the anointing. Then later it became full fledged bodyguarding, and now some even go as far as using police and military men. 1 Like |
