it depends on the situation at hand. If the woman and the man are very close and the woman respects the man of course he can help her out. But what i know about ladies is that they are uncomfortable when a man touches their undies. For a lady to go inside her closet pack her bundles of dirty panties and throw am for d man feet ordering him to wash them means she get contempt for d man.
