Go and build it in Lebanon, they need you there more. Africa is for Africans like how una place be for una. Even this morning, the most progressive black melting pot (Lagos) just took a step back wards, so we have work to do on our differences and not have you to come and be distracting us.

Abeg, let her make her music and blow here... then she can be a good example to others. Ultimately, it would be awesome for people to say "Hey, I want to make it in the Nigeria music industry". I'm already hearing other Africans saying the same about Nollywood. That would be a real success for us. Please don't jump on me and say I'm looking for external validation - our entertainment industry is wonderful and needs no validation. But just like people want to blow in US, it will only boost our recognition and economy if people want to blow in Nigeria.

As for people worried about her ability to survive in Nigeria... you know that Lebanese have been surviving, and thriving in this same country we natives are abusing. They see opportunity and make millions. Our typical people just want jobs so they can go and flex at club, refusing to see all the opportunities around them.

She will blow for sure if she just has a bit of talent. She is good looking enough and the differentiation that her race gives her will help her establish a brand.

If her songs are with the likes of darey at alade, asa, praize, and timi dakolo songs she could make it in the industry. Lots of naija guys are hungry for sensational music already.
I wonder what the word already is doing there.

Nigerians have got no chill at all, so A female Lebanese singer, Stephanie Ghaida released her new song, Hayaya and shot the music video using a typical Nigerian setting,

The singer who is currently based in Lagos, just after she released her single, she decided to thank her fans and friends who sent their positive response, she went on to reveal her plans of starting and establishing herself in the Nigerian music industry.

Stephanie, however revealed that she was probably going to face serious problems in order to make it in the Industry, she stated her gender and skin color as a barrier.

She wrote:

Yes! She would probably have to sleep her way to prominence in Nigeria as a couple of Upcoming Artiste has revealed what’s currently going on in the music industry.

JoelsBlog reached out to Stephanie Ghaida on Instagram, and when she was asked hwt her relationship was with Nigeria and why she see’s the Nigerian Music industry as a platform to to establish her self… She Ignored.

The Opinions of other Nigerians will probably leave you in stitches as they plainly told her she won’t fit into the Nigeria music industry, An IG user told her,

“Dear Oyinbo girl, Nigeria is in a state of BureBjre, Snake swallow #36million, No light because you go black, yoruba demons every where… Pls you cannot cope hia”
Some Nigerians tagged her an attention seeker and opportunist, seeing that the Nigerian Music industry is slowly gaining Global Recognition she wants to come and blow using our platform.

This most annoying thing in this issue is that the Nigerian Celebrities are all over her… Giving her support and back up…the big question is how many of our upcoming Artiste have they helped? This is just Adding to the stupidity of Lagos Run festival a foreign went away with $50, 000,when are we going to Ever appreciate..

Joelsblog is not racial… We are not racist and don’t support racism, The truth has to be told and our Nigerian Celebrities are losing it! Bloody hypocrites.

Let her come.... If that snake won't swallow her career..

Tbvh tho.. The music industry especially the female league is competitive, we have mama Jamal on our playlist at intervals, there is Yemi alade, not forgetting that some are still in hibernation (people like Eva, muna, waje etc), we have upcomings like teniola etc so she should weigh are choices... but if she's good, let her come and try, tiwa do same and here she is and it could go the other way like that of temi dollface..
