Jalabi started today?. Jalabi was done in the time of nabi(SAW). You will be wasting your time listening to those who tell you not to pray behind them. Jalabi means Iwosan. Sluaghtering goat, duck are sacrifices made to Allah and there is nothing wrong witht that. Sura Khawsar verse 2 testifies to this:



So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].



To make sacrifice to other than Allah is where the problem lies and i don't personally know of muslims who do this. So you will be wasting your time if someone tells you not to pray behind them.
