Ah well, that is sad angry

The visa fee of 250 Euros is for the Turkish? Lithuanian visa application is free smiley

Besides, that is certainly outrageous. Is this through an agent, or direct from the embassy? I recall paying 70 dollars or so for mine.

Ticket-wise, it's wiser to go to to Turkey as from Istanbul to Vilnius is 250 - 300 Euros and 2-3 hrs long. Maybe even less. From South Africa, I can't even imagine

sorry the visa fee is 250 dollars, it is directly from the embassy and not any agent.
another hitch is getting an appointment with Turkish embassy, sometimes getting a date for appointment is always a problem.
the reason I prefer SA or Egypt is because I wish to travel to either of this country and come bk to Nigeria after I might have gotten my Lithuania visa, then travel to Lithuania later when school resume proper.
finally Lithuania visa is not free, it is 60 euro even in Turkey.

Sounds like a good plan. As for the Lithuanian visa, that's an interesting development

Artorius,

Are there schools in Lithuania that allow half school fees or one has to pay in full before leaving Nigeria?

MSC applicants can give it a try tho the chances of it being granted might be slim
.
Thanks Saintsquare. Please another question: Do I need to legalize my Bank Account Statement and Salary Pay Bill for submission at Estonian Embassy?

I'm sorry to take so long to reply.

It is possible - in my university at least.

You'll need to have someone mediate, but it's possible. Same goes for other universities.

I mean, if you get in touch with the int'l office and explain your case, offering to pay 1/2 of the tuition which is one semester, it is possible.

But much easier if you have someone on the ground to do the talking. At least this is how it happened in the case(s) I know of.

no problem, concerning the bank statement, friends I know didn't legalize it,just that the bank will stamp it and the manager will write a letter to the embassy stating that you are the genuine owner of the account, with signature and date.

Funny, some friends and I talked about this couple of hours ago, and the conclusion was we like Kaunas more LOL cheesy

I wouldn't want to live in Vilnius, I work there by the way, it always feels good to come back to Kaunas, it's like returning to my village cheesy

So, it's a matter of personal taste.

As for MRU, I've been on the campus of the university once, it's quite some distance from the city centre that's kinda meh

But I do think it's pretty cool, I mean a lot of intl students are there so, it could be fun, and there are jobs in Vilnius. A couple of people, moved from there to my Uni for their master degree, don't know why. Maybe because mine has more rep in LT I guess.

Overall, I think it's cool wink

Yeah bro. I Think the letter which the bank manager will write is kind of like Reference/Introduction letter.
For brothers on scholarship, are all those papers from bank needed? Or their scholarship award letter/admission letter stating their scholarship is just sufficient?

Wow I'm glad you took your time to explain this, really insightful. Actually depends on the scholarship,if stipend allowance for food, accommodation and upkeep is covered in the scholarship then bank statement is not necessary, if its only tuition that is covered then its necessary to show bank statement as prove you don't need to work to live, but all the same its good to have all the doc available to avoid any wahala lol ,and don't forget your police clearance too, having many more docs is an added advantage.

Thanks bro. Your responses have been helping. Bro, both TRP and Close Relative application forms are in a format one can fill on screen. But D Visa application form isn't in that format as I downloaded. Can I just use an ink pen to fill it? Or I must convert it to a format that I can fill on screen?

I'm doing my online application
I've uploaded all the necessary documents except the receipt (I haven't paid it yet)
Must I pay the school fees in full before I get admission?
Also my documents were legalised by federal high court
Can I send it to them or I have to legalise with ministry of education?

I'm applying to kauno Kolegija university of Applied Sciences.

Hellllpppp!!!!

firstly you have to pay the application fees.
submit your application online to the school.
you can only pay school fees when they have given you admission.
you dont need to take your documents to ministry of education.... a notorized copy is okay for skvc..

Also on their site, I'm not seeing list of documents to send the hardcopy of except waec?
Is waec enough?
Do I attach a copy of other documents? If yes please state which
Thank you.

skvc is a center in Lithuania that is in charge of evaluating foreign qualifications..
you don't send ur original Waec to them, u can send them a notorized copy of ur waec certificate with a waec scratch card. a notorized copy of ur passport data page.
check the school website well or write to them.

So just a notarized copy of my waec (with scratch card) and copy of my international passport is enough?

Coz that's the only thing I'm seeing on their site and I wanted to know if they require more documents.
