I shouted the same thing when I read through.

Jesus!!! On this same planet.

Anything you can imagine can be done. It's all a matter of time and of course not being in Africa, Nigeria to be specific.

Chai!!! See technological advancements that's springing forth and yet our politicians keep leading their foolish supporters to doom. Is high time Nigeria youths wake up from slumber and stage a revolt.

When would this get to Nigeria?

What makes you think am trying to pull you down, as far as we keep on blaming our leaders we shall get nowhere technologically.
Any small thing, you blame politicians, what concerns politics with technology.

An enabling environment and quality education.

For example, let's say the quality education part is taken care of by an individual studying in a good private school or abroad, utilising those skills in Nigeria is an uphill task.

I'm very sure the smart TV will be smarter than Buhari grin

Yet he was smart enough to reach the pinnacle of his career, first as a military man (becoming military governor, petroleum minister and head of state) and as a politician (president of Nigeria). What have you accomplished in life

Sure as hell this is gonna cost a fortune, it's for the elites and not commoners!!! Nice piece tho, Mr explorer I hail thee
Explorers:
Samsung's Ambient Mode tries to prevent the TV from looking like an ugly black box when is off or in sleep mode.

Users can upload their own photos and set them as the TV's background

The Samsung's new Ambient Mode also echoes many of the same features used in its Frame TV, which was released last year.

The Frame is meant to look like a picture frame, artwork that's hung on a wall when the T.V is off or in sleep mode.

No, we only separate reasoning from sentiments.
and what is the sentiment is stating a glaring and obvious truth about our country

No they did not get there by merit, they got there by effort, it is a shame good people idle away, while bad people run the show, may be you need to check your own brain.

Lol. Gangster like effort.

Intimidation, murder , fighting, kidnapping, rituals, shrine visits is that effort?

You might as well say the Italian mafia, bank robbers and the like are legit cos they put in effort.

This is the exact situation explained below

We are on different paths heading in different directions.

When will Nigeria grow to invest more on technology, we av talented engineers who are productive but the condition and bad leadership is not recognising them.

One year NYSC

1 year 6 months masters degree

Yet no job, ur years and talent just wasting in dis country.

God we need the moses that will take us to the promise land.

And you think Einstein and Newton had support from the politicians.

We have banks, town unions, civil liberty organisations and many more that can support startups.
The truth is the government has spoon-fed us for so long, that we shift every thing to them.
Yes we need stable electricity, but providing electricity should not be a purely government responsibility.

What the Government owes us is security, public infrastructure and good facilities.

That still falls under effort, the question is what are the good people doing to negate the wrong doing of the bad people.
Complaining and doing nothing.

It's either we have a higher percentage of bad people or we have a higher proportion of useless people.
Either way the politicians might be part of our problem, they are not our problem.

We are our problem.

The sentiment is blaming politicians for everything.
The blame should also go to entrepreneurs, importers and consumers as well as politicians.

Deduction is not enough to reach such a conclusion.

I know of a Nobel Prize winner in Literature who wrote good books but struggled with English. And there is no evidence that Einstein was an orator yet we know him as one of the most brilliant men the world ever saw.

In less than 50 years, the hardware will not be there again. You won't need to buy a TV box again. It's the software people will be buying and crystal clear contents will be beamed directly to your living room through technology.

Entertainment will be delivered at real time to any location and you will access it virtually with your designer sunshades with the excitement of watching a 50" LED Tv.

We are in for interesting times.

See technology. The Japanese Tech giant is making giant strides while our Ministers are struggling to outlie each other and celebrating mediocrity. Our science and tech ministry is still budgeting for PENCIL PRODUCTION

In sane climes, government provide enabling environment for private companies to thrive, least KFC which is POWER. But what have we got here? Entrepreneurial killing policies from the whole tiers of government, like the recent 400% Land Tax by Lagos State Government. How can private sector survive with these set of SELFISH RULERS we are cursed with here?

Samsung is a south Korean firm not a Japanese
