Have you tried plugging to a laptop to see if it can read your memory. After this please always backup your files.

Wanted to ask if those files were saved to cloud, only way is files must be lost. Am Still trying to imagine why some parts of the screen won't respond to the dots, that one sef na bug?
I don't understand either. Hargbo should keep trying, clean the screen and attempts it after restarting d device. Hargbo, have you tried using a mouse? I'm not sure if it'd work but....

The guy must remember his password o...restart won't save him neither forgot password, the latter will even delete all files on the phone.

Hargbo, if you're able to resolve this successful, please always save your files in the cloud....Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive etc.
Advice from someone once in "your shoe"

It has happened to me before.. I just dey sweat under air condition..

I no know when I begin talk "the devil is a liar"..

Rebooting device/shutting down the device and leaving it for 5mins, before putting it on, solved it..

Hate it when it doesn't recognise your fingerprint and password, then locks you out for 1min plus

Till you get that access to the phone, no action can be undertaken on that phone aside power button actions. As advised, keep the phone OFF for some minutes and attempt it again, else, you might need to get someone to spare you his/her screen to unlock! I pray the screen responds though cuz the latter option is only 10% possible.

Modified : Haven't enabled it since I updated to miui 9. It's safer to just enable it because of issues like this, you can never know when it will become handy.

Is it that you forgot your unlock pattern? Try to get to the root of the problem and always back up your important files to a cloud service (Google drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc) to avoid emotional stories.

Which snapdragon 4gb ram and 64gb rom within the price range of 50 to 70k that's above redmi note 4/4x can you recommend for purchase or any other brand outside xiaomi "that you can use" wink you know you can't use infinix or tecno even though they dash you one wink

Oh! I make use of PIN o...me no like anything slide/draw! With PIN, you can mouse to unlock sef in ds scenario

If you are fast enough on Wednesday, you can cop the Redmi note 5 4/64gb during the anniversary sales.Should be around 70k. Good luck.

I don't understand why you would save mega important stuff in a phone that can get stolen though. That's careless.

Is there not a way to use forget password and log in with miui account guys?
