Now i understand Mourinho is no SAF. But its not until Mourinho buys the word 11 before he wins the league. His current team is capable of wining the league or at least mounting a title race/challenge at this stage of the season.
Mourinho has to buy this....buy that! After all he has spent he still needs to buy more to win the league. Yet una go dey talk say Pep too dey spend.

Except a few dead weights, there is nothing wrong with this team...
I agree with most of the above.

Jose has enough to at least be challenging for the title.

Seriously if anyone says De Gea is at par with any other goalie in this world, I will swear for that person.

I remember someone on this thread blaming him a while ago for a free kick he conceded vs Siggurdsson and saying Romero was better.

That person knows who he is.

But what we have is Jose handing out contracts to these guys or saying he's OK with his attack and does not need a RW. No team has complete set of players. We have more world class players than not. For the Young we have, City has Delph. Valencia has regressed which is more evident because he has nobody to form partnership with attacking wise. We have Matic Pogba Sanchez Martial Rashford Mata Lukaku Bailly DDG. These players have a very high ceiling and should be doing much better than how they are currently doing. The ones that are average or below average in the team are not more than 4.

There's no truth in you saying the team is not good enough. City may be better but not 13 points better. And Sevilla is definitely not better than United

I think it's sad that things have degenerated to this level among us.
It's totally uncalled for and very unnecessary.

We don't need to name ourselves in derogatory terms just to prove our points.

Unfortunately we live in a my-dick-is-bigger-than-yours society so most of these debates are ego driven.

Instead of celebrating a noteworthy and almost unexpected win vs the top dogs on their own patch, we are in the trenches sniping at each other and spoiling a what is supposed to be a good evening.

"I gave them the example of many matches when a team is losing 2-0 and can recover so credit to the boys because they believed and they kept their shape and it's a very important result for us because mathematically I think we need six points to finish in the top four.

"That objective is the compulsory objective so we need six points in three matches at home and three away. So I'm pretty confident today has helped with that and to finish second I think is very important.

"I think we are four points ahead of Liverpool with one match in hand and we are four ahead of Spurs and City need to beat them to win the title. Our challenge is to finish second."
