To those who were and no longer are... It seems like years you walked away, Quelling the fire you had set burning in me, I had given you all, Beyond what I gave myself. You left me with questions, Wouldn't even reply when I asked, Couldn't even look up at me when we stumbled on each other, Never a reason- never an explanation. You seem to have moved on, How would I? How can I? You were my life, Still are, Still will. I don't think I can move further, Don't think I want to. If you'll ever give me audience once more, Ever reply my messages, Ever pick my calls, Ever ask what I had to say before you walked out, Not much, But four words that keep me holding on through the tears, Keep me dying and rising, Four words- I can't let go. © PraiseAzeh 2018
