Shehu mustn't play against persic, because the first 20min he would be caution

Secondly, I feel pity for Ola Aina but he still got a place in SE, Elderson should just enjoy his time; i don't even see him starting ahead of idowu

Thirdly, Joel Obi is an asset same with Etebo.

As for onazi i don't want both him and joel obi to start anymore 2 gra gra no fit they start for middle alot of blunder would be committed.

Rohr next match i want to see Joel obi and OGu play together!!

I rest my case cool
joel obi should fasten his seatbelt on da bench. He nor go smell first eleven again.

Seriously speaking, I don't like this rohr, he is too conservative to change. That's why he was sacked by Bordeaux and they won the ligue 1 after he left. Most people have been hailing him because of our results have improved since his arrival. But that was totally due to the rebuilding process and motivation of the players. But I'm sorry to say, I've not seen any tactical genius from rohr. How can someone use a 4-3-3 formation against england without a good dmf? He should have studied the English team and realized that they hardly concede goals from the wings in their past few matches . Now, he drops ola Aina without really giving him a chance, Brian idowu has tried but hasn't really been top notch like ebuehi, let's say, idowu gets injured during the WC, we'd be doomed with echiejile. He knows echiejile isn't good but doesn't want to drop him because he's a senior experienced player and was more involved in the qualifier but the dude doesn't have anything to offer. Now hes taking joel and onazi. After this wc, i think onazi should be removed as the vice captain and it should be given to ekong .I just pray Wilfred Is back on time and maybe we practice the 3-5-2 formation against Czech republic. I'd love to see victor moses as our left wing back instead of idowu cos I don't know where he'd fit in the formation but Its just that, if you put him as left wing back he'll start forming big boy and feeling reluctant to play and run the way he plays for Chelsea. But anyway, rohr knows best!

Moses and Musa should give us options in the bench

Where was Aina when Shehu and Ebuehi were putting up man of the match performances on the RB position

He didn't struggle enough for the RB position and messed up in the LB position

Why do you think Fabian Delph is in the world cup because he performed in an unfavorable position and was noticed to play in his preferred position.
we all know elderson is heading to the world cup because of the role he played during the world cup qualifiers and a very useless experience they claim he has....not necessarily because he is a better player compare to aina.

Super Eagles should be reset after the World Cup. In the GK Department, Dele Ajiboye should replace Daniel Akpeyi in the Team immediately after the Mundial.

I hope to see Tyrone and Musa Muhammad jostling for the RB, while Shehu is moved to his preferred Position - DM. Echiejile should be retired to pave way for Aina and Idowu vying for the LB Position.

In the Midfield, Onazi and Ogu should be replaced with Nwakali Brothers, Ajagun should be invited also to fight for a Spot in the Team. Finally Iwobi should be classed and played as an AM for the Team.

Upfront....... Kayode should be brought back to replace Ighalo in the Squad. Simmy should be retained.

Why Aina should fight for LB again? Why not fight for RB the position he plays at his club. Then if it didn't perform we can easily drop him. Rohr should scout for another LB to slug it out with Idowu not Aina again

prove you wrong ke. .....
someone who can't manage control his areas and offer anything offensively during the world cup qualifiers...will now go to the gathering of the best teams (world cup) and showcase a wonderful performance....

football is not magic....no player can give what they don't have.....so don't expect any miracle from him.

it is so painful that our indigenous coaches just can't do away with their negative attitude and biased/fraudulent team selection.... Siasia is someone who could have done better than even rohr....

Bro....I have reduced my expectation on this team.....
let it know.....that the coaches poor judgement cost us should we fail @ the mundial.....

the kind of coach rohr is....is a kind of manager that will see club all through from championship to the epl and refuse to get in New players into his squad all because of loyalty...he will stick to the old boys who brought the club out from relegation...even when some of them have lost it...and that will eventually cost him his job.....

I just feel for him...probably these was abit reasons why he has never been too successful as a manager....and even the Nigeria coaches working with him have little reasonable input.

That's the reason I said those singing his praises for dropping Aina for Shehu instead of shifting Shehu to the middle to drop either Onazi or Joel, should watch it, because I will come for them. Lol and TheGoodJoe said I was rejoicing over Shehu's failure? smh

Moses feel he is indispensable to this team...he should be made sit on the bench... from the second half yesterday and also against Argentina it goes to show that our performance on the 3-5-2 formation is no fluke....it works well against non-African oppositions....
when adopting that Moses can as well sit on the bench....... he rarely release the ball and play a bit too selfish.

OK I've been reading comments here concerning yesterday's game and I decided to come up with this little analysis of mine....

1. First, we shouldn't give up on the eagles based on the outcome of yesterday's game or d game against Congo.

2. Taking eagles to play England at the Wembley stadium (which will definitely have an overwhelming effect on any visiting team, including Brazil and Germany) few days to the world cup was a very fine initiative from the English FA, but the greatest mistake on d part of our own FA.
This simply shows that either a team psychologist is missing or the one available is not efficient. Taking ur team to play England at the Wembley few days to the world cup (who does that?) is suicidal and the obvious outcome can damage the confidence of the visiting team, going forward...

Which brings me to my third and most heart-warming point....

3. The way the eagles were able to bounce back strongly in the second half is a testament to the fact that this is a great team with high mental strength. It also shows that rohr and his technical team are capable. Scoring a goal capped that all up (and we could have had a second).

The eagles that will play against Croatia will be totally different from wat u saw in the first half of the game against England. Go and write today's date down and Mark my words.

Thanks!

that coach really annoys me...
even the 3-5-2 formation the team has practised with so much success...the coach is still scared to make it one of the main formation for the team.... all because he don't wanna drop his old fashioned strategy. ....
we can't keep absorbing pressure whenever we play non-Africa teams..... had it been we played a very clinical team yesterday it would have been so disastrous....

let's all attack and defend as a unit...with that we may always get something positive...

I am so sad right now coming back from church only to read that Joel Obi and Onazi made the cut.

I swear those two will be the downfall of Rohr... Those two arw a shame to Nigeria midfield... With them in the middle, you can never see Cohesion, team play, stability, and possession play in our midfield ever.

I am even suspecting Joel Obi to be an antagonist dropped in our team to stifle our play by our enemies.

He is so pathetic and a shadow of his former self... SMH!!

Four matches now with him in the 'fox hole' in the middle yet no creativity, no assist, no commanding performance from him.

You guys are being too unnecessarily harsh on the players, the poor first half display was down more to tactics/formation than anything else. Aside Iwobi which other Super Eagles outfield player didn't look below average judging by their 1st half display? Those of you calling for the head of Onazi, Joel & Shehu, if Ndidi, Ebuehi and Ogu had started yesterday's game with that formation they would still have performed badly too.

Even Ekong who was struggling miserably against the runs of Sterling and Alli in the 1st half put up a confident showing in the 2nd half. It is not always easy to play against a 3-5-2/3-4-3 team as this formation allows them an extra man in the midfield and in defence. I was saying yesterday that once we change our formation to 3-5-2 to match that of the 3 Lions, the game could normalise and our boys will get a foothold on the game.

Rohr should take utmost blame for our shambolic 1st half performance, the world cup is just 2 weeks away and by now, he should be sure of the teams formation and style of play. He would be able to substitute only 3 players in a game, and it won't do the team any good if we always have to react and play catch up in the 2nd half.

This is too hard for them to understand. Bunch of ingrates. Aina's treatment was nothing but sheer wickedness and deceit.

We all know the truth but trynna eschew it, one of the baits used to lure Aina was the worldcup, now he wasn't given a better judgement. How do you want the poor boy to feel about the system now?
