mean guys... me already got my godfather... D only issue am having now is that am kinda overweight, and that race run 3.2 no die... I Could do that some years back but now....i can't even make 500m without stopping to rest mean....

Put your mind to it bra... It is possible.
But dont start out all at once. Start small then build on ur progress. Like go 500m today. Tomorrow you go 1000m. And then 2000m on and on increasing your capacity and discovering new strengths you never thought you had.
It's all in you, find it.

And pls, don't let the 3.2km race be ur focus. You will be easily frustrated at it.

Just go out, clear ur mind and enjoy a good run. Enjoy the cool air slapping against ur body and face while you run. Enjoy the way ur body moves, the way u breathe and the way you challenge ur self to find those strength hiding away in you.

Many mistakes people do is to train with d exact 3.2 km. When training pls train with 5-6km what you need to build is endurance and speed.

There are apps u can use to calculate your distance or better still use your google map to calculate your distance

Go to any nearby stadium. A standard track is 400m(0.4km). To cover 10km do the maths, note it has to be timed(at least 4km every 15min), therefore try and cover 10km in about 34min.
It might look difficult at first, but little by little you will get there.
Or better still, download a phone app(from play store) to track ur distance, mind you for this to work accurately, your device must have accelerometer.
