Regardless of the day or week you had your interview, all candidates got the same treatment. Having your interview the first week doesnt give you an extra niche. A computer application generated the final scores, dpr doesnt have the time to start checking each candidate's documents, thats why it doesnt matter if you have an extra certification or degree- no one took note. The average score is the current yardstick used.

Marvel64:
Most of the merit candidates had their interview in the first week. For those that attended the interview in the 2nd week consisted of a few merit candidates, more of those that didn’t sit for the test and the others with poor test results (with strong connect). These VIP candidates were meant to be interviewed on the third week but Mr Tata decided to conclude everything on the 15th of Dec.

The few persons contacted that had issues with their portal made the final list. Hence, Most successful candidates were not contacted to update their portals.

The final list has been approved. You can confirm from the HQ, if your name appeared on the final list, which I believe is a mission impossible at this time unless you know the man at the top. Typing of APLs is the reason for the delay not FCC, they are taking their time to avoid mistakes. Believe me when I say this, some sources both at FCC and DPR will remain quiet, if possible give false info simply because their candidates were considered. It’s like signing a non disclosure agreement.

More will make it on merit and few by connection.

Let’s all be patient.

Good evening hopefuls,

I have been following this thread silently for months and I noticed that a few persons have refused to share the truth about the current status of this recruitment. I know some people that have chosen to stay quiet will not be happy about this information I am about to share.

1. Some persons made it to the interview without sitting for the aptitude test including those that performed poorly. This was just to fulfil all righteousness to ease pressure. These persons attended the interview in the second week of December, 2017. However, most of them will not get the job.

2. 300+ made it on merit. 400 successful out of 3000+ candidates. 70% score in the interview will guarantee you the job. Federal Character was applied.

3. FCC approved the list and COC was issued; typing of APLs and posting letters commenced 3weeks ago. For those saying the list is with FCC, its either you are not telling the truth or your source refused to disclose this info.

4. Email, SMS will be used to contact successful candidates and Portals will be updated to provide further details regarding pick up of APLs.

5. Some people were called and asked to provide some documents that were missing on their portals in the month of May. Remember the Friday of the third week of May when the portal wasn't accessible and displaying an error message was when such update was done.

6. We will be contacted this month.

7. No one has been issued APL. Ignore such rumour.

8. This is the most transparent recruitment process. Most people with strong connections will be disappointed. The sons and daughters of the common man will make it on merit, thanks to Mr Tata. He deserves an accolade for this.

Lastly, Prayer is Key.
The Number 2 sir, will it be only interview score(70%) or the sum of both test and interview?

Guys, please let's appreciate whoever gives us information on this platform, irrespective of whether it agrees with what our sources have told us or it doesn't. It's wrong to say someone is lying from the pit of hell just because they said what does not correspond to what our sources have told us. If we do that, we will surely discourage people from sharing what they know about the state of the recruitment. Remember we all have a common goal here. Please let's respect one another. Thanks and God bless us all.

Good morning guys,

Firstly, I never said everyone that did their interview in the 2nd week will hardly make it. I emphasised only on the candidates with strong connection (test absentees and those with low test scores) just only a few them will be considered. Many of them that were promised the job will be disappointed.

Ferguson was right about the June 10, the names had returned to DPR on the last week of May for preparation of the APLs. I repeat FCC has nothing to do with this. The APLs were the reason for the delay.

It took them a week (18-25, May) to work on the portals of the few successful candidates that had the glitch. This shouldn’t be a problem.

Let’s take a trip down memory lane, Mr Tata was expected to resume on the 15th Jan, 2018 from leave but was absent for over 2weeks (15th -26) after which the OND candidates were contacted on the 29th, Jan to pick up their APLs. The question is “where was Mr Tata?”.
Now back to the present, The Minister of State for Petroleum resources during his visit at DPR instructed them to conclude the recruitment before the end of May. Suddenly, Mr Tata disappeared from the office for 2 weeks using the same tact. I’m sure some of us can guess where he was. Within the period of his absence from office, few portals that had issues were resolved, the list was approved and sent back to HQ for APLs to be prepared.

Let me explain what I meant by obtaining 70% score in the interview. If you made it to the interview on merit, it means one may have scored above 70% in the test. Therefore, your average score can’t be less than a 70%. Federal Character was also a factor, let’s not forget that.
I know some people here have already known their fate. Kindly contact your source @ the HQ to check your name on the final list.

Let’s wait for the emails and sms to roll out this month.

I don't know where you got your information from but on good authority, No. 3 is not correct. The list got to FCC on Wednesday last week. Its with the Chairman and tagged "top secret". Nobody is permitted to see it until deliberations starts. This week is considered" Salah week" so most top management staff would have travelled. Expect considerations by next week when work fully resumes. This brief lecture is just to let you know that CoC has NOT (in capital letters) been issued. I can't tell for all other points stated by you but for CoC, has hasn't been issued.

Referencing the bolded above, it may interest you to know that Mr Tata (If he's DD Corporate Services) was in NNPC building (Ministry of Petroleum) on Tuesday last week before the list was sent to FCC on Wednesday. Although he was out of the country for a while(about 2 weeks) due to pressure.

Something is really disgusting to me on this group.
Everyone should listen carefully.

+ those who are saying this is true, this is right and this is wrong. This is what I know and this is what is at stake and this is the situation etc. All of you are somewhat immature. Please you can also insult me.

1. You don't work with DPR so why say something someone says is wrong.

2. You depend on someone to give you an information but is not smart enough to know that you can only trust yourself. Haven't your gf said you are the only one then later realized differently.

3. If you are sure of your own stance and position, why are further to prove?.

4. Why do you have to pass a message across by being insolent? Are you lacking self confidence that much? You only insult in an argument when you don't have the superiority of mentality to do so.

5. Everybody is right until proven wrong and everyone is wrong until proven right. So please all of you are liars and all of you are speaking your truth.

At the end of the day, you were only told what you know so we can't take it to the bank. Stop the argument kids.

There’s absolutely nothing insulting with having two separate view points on a public platform. I see nothing in the discussions of today at all. (My opinion) . Everyone has different information all leading to the purpose of just trying to stay in the loop with this recruitment. All information is a bonus , whether it favors us or not.

I can confirm to you guys that the recruitment exercise is practically over. I say this because my contact at FCC said so. A copy of the list is presently in FCC, DPR has the same copy. It is standard procedure for FCC to have a copy of the list. The Chairman of FCC has the list, and he has locked it up in his drawer for reasons best known to him. This has made it difficult for my contact at FCC to crosscheck on my behalf. If any of u guys know those in charge of the recruitment team at DPR, then find out if you made it.They both have the same copy (i.e DPR and FCC)

I am not a speculator, I am speaking based on concrete info
The only thing to expect right now is the calls to be congratulated for being among the successful candidates.

When I said Mr Tata was away for 2 weeks, I meant in the month of May (14th - 26th). He was busy getting the job done away from the office to avoid attention. I tell you, just only few persons knew what he was up to.

Thank you @ Sumari for the update, at least it’s now confirmed that it’s officially over. We both arrived at the same conclusion. Don’t waste your precious time thinking of FCC, like I said earlier in my previous post that some persons @ FCC will remain quiet or provide false information protect their interest, try to relate it with what the incumbent Chairman of FCC has done.

Ensure you make effort to confirm if your name is on the approved list @ the HQ. The letters are almost ready.

When they say majority is on merit...., they do not mean 100%. Surely there would be a couple that use connection to make it on the list but this recruitment won’t be as bad as the CBN one. What I heard was that the OND recruitment list was made up of mainly connected people so that this one would be majorly on merit. And for those that are doubting ow it’s possible, I heard that Shakur is very stubborn when he wants to be and has strong backing... He is also near retirement age so he has nothin to fear from any Oga at the top
