Don't mind him. Medicine, WiFi and water could be needed urgently and the muturu is saying don't buy.

WIFI is mostly free at the airport once you have a boarding pass.

Airport drugs are overpriced imagine paracetamol going for 1k, I just do round about turn.

Wifi is relatively cheap, first 30 minutes is free while 200 naira for some hours before your flight is ok, though I know of glo but if u are using the lounge it is free.

I have never traveled international, but those shops at the airports in Lagos and Abuja are super expensive. I only window shop if a flight is delayed.

Pointless article. Like saying the sun at noon is hot... of course it is....everyone knows that and everyone knows that shopping in transit is inflation personified whether in the airport, on a train or the typical Nigerian highway markets. And much so because when you have ready cash and no time to haggle you are bound to splash....

I have purchased some of those things mentioned at various Airports in nigeria at not too costly price. Besides, you can be sure you re not buying fake products.

Obviously, this OP has never travelled out of Nigeria and in so doing generalised this statement.
Get this right pls, it is only in Nigeria where there is no govt regulation that this thread applies to. In most international airports around the world, WIFI is free, Foreign currency sale and medicine are strictly regulated. Others might be priced differently but not overboard as described by the OP.
