ahh well. You have a solid point and Xiaomi are damn focused on sales, its like they are pursuing Samsung, so many phones per year yet few will be current after one year and half
Unlike Samsung, Xiaomi takes good care of virtually all their phones, that's why the likes of the Redmi 2 still got the Miui 9 update. After one and a half year, all phones won't be current because of trend, but good ones remain relevant. If you handle a Redmi note 2 or 3 pro, you'll see they look more advanced than devices of same year from our local champions

Xiaomi dey try then, so many appreciate the support of miui to even old phones. So in essence if miui 11 is based on android 9, phones like redmi 5+ and redmi s2 will get android 9?

They won't get Android 9 in this case, but they will get miui 11 which will have most of the features of Android 9.

You should always be tracking in this case, say from 7 days from now. The moment your tracking shows failed delivery or shipment at local distribution centre, then you should start visiting the post office. After visiting the post office, if it's not yet with them, you should drop your tracking number and correct phone number with them, so as to contact you when you item arrives.

Ensure your fingers aren't wet, reboot then try to readd fingers again.

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by macbeyland(m): 3:48am On Oct 11, 2018
I just did an extensive test on the 20, 000 mah xiaomi 2c powerbank and the 20, 000 mah Ramos power bank. Both have QC technology, although the xiaomi also has quick charge for charging the power bank itself while the Ramos doesn't. I used both phones to charge my xiaomi mi max 2 of 5300mah

Here are my result.

Ramos
At 100 percent the ramoss charged my max 2 from 0 to 100 percent and the PB indicator dropped to 75 percent. Second charge, the Ramos Charged the max 2 from 0 to 100 percent, this time, dropping to 45 percent. That's 2 full charge. On the third charge, the Ramoss dropped from 45 percent to 0 percent but only gave my phone around 60 percent charge. So It means the Ramos doesn't hold much power on the first 50 percent of battery because being that it used 25 percent at first, I thought with 45 percent left, I should get another full charge on my Max 2.

Xiaomi 2c

This doesn't have digital battery indicator. It has LED indicator. 4 stable led when plugged in means full charge. From 100 percent battery power on the power bank and 0 percent on my Max 2, power bank charged my phone fully with 3 indicator left. At second charge cycle, power bank charged my max 2 from 0 to 100 percent this time the indicator on PB dropped from 3 LED to just one LED left. At third charge cycle, on the 1 LED remaining, power bank charged my phone from 28% to 100 percent, still retaining that one LED power.

Frankly speaking, I never thought I could get up to 50 percent on my phone with that one LED. I plugged the phone overnight, I was just surprised to wake up to see phone fully charged with power bank still blinking the same 1 LED that I started charging it with when phone was on 28 percent.
I will drain the phone and use the remaining power to charge the phone and see how many percent I will get on what's left on the power bank.

if you are able to boot twrp, copy the recovery.img file to ur internal storage (mtp works in twrp) click on install, change to install image, it will allow you to see the recovery.img file in ur internal storage then install it, twrp will ask u which type of image, choose recovery. After installing it, install magisk n lazy flasher you now have root

Damn! You must have the patience of a school teacher to repeatedly wait for that Max 2 to run down to zero percent.

But this your review is inconclusive, Ramos PB fans will not take it (In Orubebe's voice) grin
Am sure the Ramos PB is not as new as the Xiaomi 2c, you can't ignore the effects of wear and tear on electronic gadgets especially those with batteries.

Secondly you didn't state the percentage of the Max 2 before the final charge on the Ramos, something tells me is wasn't on 28%

No blame me o, as a typical Nigerian me love to dey scrutinize things to their least details wink

For all test done on the Ramoss, phone was down to 0 percent.

I bought the ramoss after I had bought the max 2 and from the onset, I had noticed that the power bank doesn't take long to discharge from 50 percent to zero as it does from 100 percent to 50. Also, I'm not a heavy power bank user because I use a Max 2 with big battery, I have fairly good power supply in my area and I have chargers for my max 2 both at home and the office. I doubt if I had overused the ramoss since I bought it.

I had to do this test by charging with the power banks even when there was light.

Why do we take tout to mean something bad?

'Tout' as used here refers to those of us who sell items here.
