Drink plenty of water to soften the stool. Eat enough fruits and vegetables as they contain fibre and aid easy bowel movement.

You will need to upload a picture of the stool. How red the blood is will determine where the bleeding is from. It could be anal fissure or hemorrhoids.

I also experienced same thing sometimes last year, but it stopped with time, mine self I always get scared when ever I want to � because the pains was something else.

All these ppl that wee be "asking for a friend" , Issorai, continue. That friend no dey ever exist, always hypothetical.

If a lady comes to my clinic and tells me that " Dr, I have a friend who has a bloody and painful poo", I would first ask if that friend is bedridden and can't bring herself to the hospital. If yes, then I'd either send an ambulance to pick her up or request a medical personnel to go and eye ball her.

Bottom line : 3rd party consultations are not ideal in medical practice. Doesn't work, never works. There are direct questions I would like to ask about the symptoms which you can't provide answers to.
