I hope many people hailing Buhari for this project understand it is 80% funded by Chinese loan and that neither Buhari nor GEJ negotiated the loan, Obasanjo administration conceived the project and negotiated the loan as far back as 2006.

Putting up picture of the same,1km stretch,does not confirm the completion of the said section.and why take 1-2 years to get a project,started(not finished o)?and still,it will be given to family members and greedy cabal groupied,!
In sane climes,that period is enough to have completed a project,two times over.at this rate,it will take 16years,to complete 5 major,infrastural projects!
So,what makes APC,different from all other,thieving regimes!!

@AutoReportNG, Please take time to geotag this pictures so that we can get Geo-coordinate location of the the public transport infratructure currently under construction. That way, we know the extent of work been done for better clarification. There are many apps out there that can do this.

It is just a suggestion

Maybe it's completed elsewhere but its not near completion around Agbado to Ijoko Ogba'yo...I pass this route almost every day, work is still going on...I think they work at night now around Ijoko Ogba'yo....I'll take pics later

Good job. I'm traveling to Lagos today, I will park my car and take pictures of the Lagos Benin road that is under development. The road has been abandoned since PDP regime but work started on it since Buhari got into office. Since then, I've been enjoying driving to Lagos from Ore.
I'm not a Buharist or politically motivated to say this but I'm just giving my own eye-witness account.

A BIG FAT LIE. get your facts right. This new railway is different from the rehabilitation of the old rail line negotiated by OBJ, thus is Buharis baby, like him or hate him

two projects are always on display weekly on nairaland front page- kano intersection and lagos ibadan railway. these projects are not completed yet.

Obasanjo and Goodluck picts were displayed on lagos ibadan highway, today lagos ibadan highway is still ongoing project after many years.

For God's sake, Lagos ibadan railway is funded by loan from China with first condition that Chinese company must do the project despite the fact that nigeria will pay back.
if Mr integrity has blocked leakage of corruption why do we have to borrow from China again.

still some are celebrating it as if it's the first of its kind in the way in the world. "advance in arrears"
I think it's high time we stood up and demand for first of kind project with our oil money.

All I can deduce is that the author is full of unnecessary anger which needed to be directed at something or somebody.

For 16 years a party was handling the country like its their personal property you didn't even complain for lack of weekly update on ongoing projects.

This government came after few months you start shouting they have nothing to show.

Then they started updating the nation on their ongoing projects and now you're complaining they are disturbing your peace work-in-progress projects. Guy, do you even know what you want or need?

Personally I'm happy they are updating us with their projects.

Why won't people continue to shout hunger in the land when their source of plundering this great country dry as been blocked and the beneficiaries are also crying. pardon my worry here but Why is that rail line in a deep. without drainage, wont the rail be covered in water especially in rainy season when it peaks? just wondering o. one side looks metallic and the other is sandy.....

hhaa haba am telling you my dear brother, the way many Nigerian reasons it's just unfurtenate, many don't even know what they really want because this is beyond hatred .

how can a reasonable person said he dislike the progress work update? it's just surprising, i don't even know how to quote him cox I know definitely I 'll be ban for long again if I do.

Who 'll castigate PDP if they have done those things ? am sure it 'll be top of their campaign list but it's unfurtenate they couldn't do any but shut down little Nigeria have with their excessive loots

If PDP had worked at the pace APC has worked in 3yrs despite meagre resources, their 16yrs of misrule would have been very different.

The rail line has passed through Abeokuta where a tunnel was constructed for it because it crossed the Sagamu Abeokuta road. One needs to see the tunnel to believe it's truly in Nigeria.

Politics aside, I give it to this administration.

Don't forget that his state is one of the richest, using the situation advantages around him, what did he do that was outstanding

If not for shame of what people would say because they warned him not to bring this evil government in but he was obstinate, he himself would have crawled back to PDP!

So they cannot achieve much in 4years and they want Good Luck Jonathan to build Rome in 5years.

If you don't have something concrete to say just keep quiet okay? They are still better than PDP who always initiate projects without completing them for a good 16 years. But we are having progress under 4 years with another government (APC) and you're bringing politics of bias into it due to the fact that you like PDP? Don't argue blindly. I have gained nothing from both govt. I hustle on my own and got all I have by God's grace and my own knowledge. So I can tell you this plain truth. Seeing is believing. This APC govt are trying in completing a project than PDP. If you criticize APC on another level and ground then I can understand. PDP had more than enough time to do much but blow their chances. GEJ had 6 good years, OBJ had two solid terms so no excuses. We didn't put them there for silly excuses.

GEJ was a good man but a very weak president. He should be blamed for not saving for raining days and stop blaming Ameachi. Buhari did not sign previous budgets on time due to padding, the same thing GEJ signed into law even though his budget was padded. Buhari refuses to do the bidding of senates on many occasions. This is what we call a leader Cos if anything goes wrong the president will be blamed and not the Senate.

If PDP comes in tomorrow and does something different for the benefit of the citizens of Nigeria I will still commend them. I'm not here for any politics. Its high time we need to shun concrete criticism devoid of politics and bias.
