Those brewery companies should stop distributing their product in the north especially kano state to avoid another huge loss because of unfriendly nature to alcohol which they regard as sharia.

Such a huge loss for the company.

And Kano should stop collecting VAT from alcohol proceeds

They may prohibit the sale and consumption of alcohol but they remain the largest beneficiaries of VAT from sale of alcohol.

Are you sane?

Aint you aware its illegal in some Northern districts by law which classes in same line with drugs?

You not making a point. Try harder!
I don't want to get banned, I would have eviscerated you.

Alcohol is legal under the supreme law of Nigeria. If some districts dis-allows it, then the legal and civilised thing to do is to send it back to places where it is allowed.

Drugs on the other hand is illegal under the constitution for very obvious reasons.
Which means it is not allowed under Nigerian territory.

How any sane human being can compare both is clownish.

You are lucky I don't want to get banned.

Long gibberish!

Is there a constitutionally recognized law prohibiting alcohol use and sales?

If yes, please keep mute. The state has a sole right to do whatever it deems fit. You dont re-route a banned substance

Tramadol is a prescribed pill in Nigeria, Is it re-routed to hospitals when siezed or destroyed

You can see you making no sense

There is no constitutional law prohibiting alcohol sale.

In fact your federal government actively encourage them to create job and pay taxes.

Is this guy high on alcohol?

The northern states should be excluded from sharing in the money derived from VAT sourced from the sale of Alcoholic beverages.

They keep destroying yet they still collect VAT, this is hypocritical

Nairaland. Seun

You make millions per month and you are still having error 505 bad gateway error?

Smh

To the topic,
When one is still in his fathers house, you are much likely to cherrypick food and even waste food because your parents provide it.

But when you start living alone with all the crazy bills, you would then think back and appreciate not only your parents but for the grace of having any food to eat.

As long as the feeding bootle system of govenance where everyone waits for Abuja allocation every momth without thinking of how to increase igr continues, these people will not have sense, after all, lagos vat is there for all to share, who cares.

Even UAE ells bear albeit heavily taxed which should have been done to these beers instead of destroying them but Abuja daddy is always there so who cares.

Funny thing is, no one is talking expecially Lagos that bears the major burdens of vat collection and all.

Smh.

I agree with you that Kano states and the rest of the northern states prohibiting the consumption of alcoholics drinks should be excluded from VAT allocation.

Only states in Nigeria that allow the consumption of beer and other alcoholics drinks should benefit from VAT allocation.
