The stretch of road after Choba bridge till just before Ahoada has been a terrible flash point for over a year now yet our media has been silent. These people from all intents are indigenous to that locality so it always appears they disappear into the air. Private cars used to be the main target but it appears as more people stopped using their cars for public transport the boys have changed pattern. It is a pity that criminality is now associated with some areas of Rivers State.

Our prayers are with the families of the affected and the good people of Rivers State.

They kidnapped a friend of mine around Ubima 2 years ago. They kept him there for 3 weeks and withdrew every penny in his account. After that they collected 800k from his family as ransom. This is why I don't travel very early or late in the evening because of those vampires. I just tire for the kind of youths we have in my state.

This news is so sad honestly. How some mischievous lots who feel the best way to get out of poverty is by wasting the lives of others who aren't living better lives is quite heartbreaking. So to emancipate yourself from poverty, it's best to rob/kill others? Those ones don't deserve better lives too? Some people have sold their consciences to the devil. God help us.
