Bloggers always looking for any opportunity to eat.

-How Pius poured anointing oil inside the plane.
-How TB Joshua saw his death and warned him.
-How his step daughter advice him not to wear blue shoes that day.
-How Bukola Saraki put charms in the cockpit
-How he was going to be appointed as Commissioner of Tourism.

Enough of the stories already. Alllow the family mourn in peace and Pius Rest in Peace.

Digging up this sad stories will not bring him back.
Yes, it won't bring him back.

But everyone needs to remember how the man lived, especially those who never met him when he was alive.

Pius lives!

Why do we celebrate people after they are gone. Nigerians, let's learn to appreciate our own when they are alive.

I'm sorry but you don't seem to understand what it means to write a condolence. Not everything has to be doom and gloom or simply saying sorry one million times for the mourning families. People write about the good times simply to give the family memories worth living for...people celebrate the good life lived by the dead so that everyone can mourn less. Now, this is one good story and kudos to the author.

God bless you. Some people think that mourning the dead is all about wailing, crying and shedding crocodile tears. As a writer himself, I believe the man would have been awed with these writings about him.

This is a figment of someone's imagination.

A visa is a privilege, and not a right. Interceding on someone's behalf hardly ever works, we all remember president Obama and his relatives.

There's no way the Canadian government would stoop so low to grant her a visa, including driving to her house and penning an apology. The day the High Commissioner does that is the day he'd be hounded out of his job.

Even a celebrity or world leader would not be accorded that privilege.

Lies.

This is the way of humanity. You never truly appreciate what you have until you lose it.

which kine post be this?

Can't really understand the post too.

You applied for visa, you're denied serially meaning certain things were wrong in the application and once you got it right, the embassy would either call you or bring it to you depending on options chosen. Does embassy issue visa free of charge? No, you pays for it. So, is a service as long as you can pay, you will get the service paid for.

Can you please do your findings and speak factually instead of making your opinion fact? Investigate the veracity or otherwise. There is a place for discretion and if the professor is seen as very valuable to Canada, and his mum was indeed wrongly denies a visa thrice, then based on discretionary powers, I don't see this as an impossibility.

There's no need to investigate anything because I speak from the point of view of knowledge while you stand on the platform of ignorance.

There's no such thing as "wrongly denied visa" because as I said, nowhere is visa a right. Doesn't matter who your son is or what he represents, visa remains a privilege, and status does not automatically confer upon one a right.

Secondly, there is no way in hell consular officers will drive all the way down to someone's house to grant a visa, especially a North American visa.

Third, an apology letter? Are you kidding me? Simply because her son is a professor there? Do you know how many Nigerians are professors and medical doctors in US and Canada and remain unable to get visas for some of their family members?

YOU need to investigate more rather than swallow such bullshiit hook line and sinker only because a professor in Nigeria is considered a big deal.

I don’t see it happening especially the part about driving all the way to ilorin to stamp her passport, haba.

Look at the Canadian PM facing fire because he is accused of trying to influence his former attorney general on a case. This story is a Naija style story, that’s not how it works in Canada etc.

Yeah as a professor he did well but sorry that is not overtly special that they will be going to do in-house visa stamping. There are many Nigerians Indians etc holding great roles in Canada, the immigration minister is a Somalian the defense minister is an Indian etc, yet they are not doing home calls for them for visas.
