Bro can you help give a quick one about Lippstadt also

What do you want to know?

it's not a big city. But the state which Lippstadt lives in is one of the best state to study in. the semester ticket can take you round the whole state plus upto cities like kassel and hannover.

it's a nice city. Big enough to find what ever you are looking for as a student or professional. their semester ticket takes you round the state with other interesting cities like bonn, dortmund, etc surrounding the beautiful city.

i had good memories there! Köln should be the 4th biggest city in Germany. Possible internship/werkstudent destination could be UN, DHL headquarters located in Bonn. i will jump at any admission offer from Köln.

If you’re learning German through that Duolingo app, I’m pleased to announce that it is pure crap grin
Waste of time.
Unless all you want to learn is good morning and goodnight. Please use YouTube and some free literatures online.
You see that coming here and desperately struggling to “make friends”?
Don’t.
Be yourself
Many times it pays to relax and observe your environment first.
Be gentle and kind on yourself and every other thing will fall into place.
No two people’s experience are same. The best thing I did for myself was reading stuff here then not taking it to heart and keeping an open mind. It did wonders for me.

All the best guys!

I wouldn't say it's a total crap. Duolingo really helped me especially with writing and reading. so my 2cents would be to combine it with other resources.

I think i may have concluded the first phase of my German study endeavour, which is determining the schools to apply to.

I had my B.Sc degree in Microbiology, but i have been working in the field of business operations and supply chain management for almost 4 years now. My initial plan was to go for an M.Sc in a business related course, but the German education system places extreme emphasis on Consecutive education, instead of Continuing education.

This means, if i must go for an M.Sc in a business related course, then i must have had a related B.Sc degree. For most of them even, you cant go pass the application stage as you must input ECTs in related courses like Economics, commerce, etc, and i had none of them in my B.Sc.

So, i made up my mind to go for another B.Sc degree, in Business, for the Summer semester.

I have made the following compilation of schools, courses and intake semester. I believe this will help someone out there, plus i will need the inputs of guys in the house:

Men dem, please advise

Nice one bro. If u dont mind me asking, are all these Bsc english taught?

I believe you will be in Germany soon. Please i want you to give us update on the other thread as soon as you are fully settled over there.

There is a thread about Nigerian students in germany, how do you survive many students hardly visit but look at the UK/USA/CANADA equivalent, very vibrant and great ideas are shared. I understand that study could be intense and hustle demanding, but if all that were on this thread and left successfully for Germany spends just 10 minutes a week to post something, the thread would be the best by far.

We really need to change because CHANGE BEGINS WITH YOU

Gute Nacht alle zusammen

My brother it's really not easy, most of those who crossed still have the thread at heart but no time.

Germany no be Yankee or Jand. Most of us faced that confused state the first day/weeks of class. And it restarts your whole system.
It takes some ppl weeks and others even years to settle. ( in terms of the right course and school. So ppl keep changing schools and courses, na that person you want to come say HI for here) So dont take it that way.

No be beans for here.
Las Las it will end in praise

More blessing....

Please, Can one book an appointment under the two CAT A & B?
I booked for an appointment under CAT B since May for an MSc program ( NOT TUITION FREE) but no date till now. Recently got a BSc AL from Hamm-Lippstadt and I was wondering if I can book another appointment for BSc without cancelling the previous one I have booked as I am still expecting to get a Tuition free MSc AL.

I had to drop my bag with one of the guys there as my laptop was inside and i wouldn’t be allowed to take it into the embassy. He said i should bring 3k, las las we bargained and he agreed for 1k5.

You guys are doing a great job here i really commend you all. Please what advice will you give an HND Graduate that wants to study in Germany?
Gather all your documents together: ssce, ND Certificate and transcripts, HND Certificate and transcripts.
Write IELTS. Enter DAAD, search for enough schools to apply for Bachelor programs. Fire your applications and await your Admission letters. Simultaneously, start preparing your proof of sustenance: BA or SL.
