Thank you very much for this advice. It will really help
donkafor:
Talking about deferment in July is still very early. There is still enough time and dates might still be available. Also, school starting September or October doesn't mean you must be in Germany on the said date. My school started October but I arrived Germany in November. Some of my friends arrived December and few January.

I will advise people to enroll online if your school allows that. Even if they don't, plead to be allowed for online enrollment. Once you're enrolled, you'll have access to course materials online and you can study from Nigeria. Also, embassy will come out with another strategy of who passed his or her enrollment deadline. Once, you're enrolled you're already a student and embassy can issue you visa anytime and you won't be caught up by the pressure of enrollment deadline.

I wish everyone good luck grin

Please o. What the meaning of the AM self and does it mean you don't have to have money in your block account to be given visa
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by PeSt007(m): 10:48pm On Jul 22, 2019
AM is Approval Mail..it simply means that your visa application has been approved and you're to present your international passport for your visa sticker and also come forward with your proof of sustenance and travel insurance..

In short, your visa comes out after you must have presented proof that you have the required money in your blocked account.

I don't think there is any issue with that cos it is always good to be on the path of truth. You might be asked during interview if you've applied for German visa b4 or a Schenghen visa which you will answer. Also, don't forget that every visa application is treated in it own merit so just go ahead and do your best. All the best bro.
N.B
My advise is not binding but that's what I will do if I am in your shoes.

Hello Good morning house
Please I'm going for my interview this week I need help on some things. I made a photocopy of my transcript before it was sealed in an envelope by my school and that's what I've been using since, Can I make photocopies of that photocopy and take to the embassy Or I have to unseal the one in the envelope given to me by my school Cos on the list .....it is stated as one original and 2 photocopy. And also secondary school certificate was requested. ...... I didn't collect certificate in my secondary school , can my waec result suffice?.

And please is there any specific requirements for the passport photo to be submitted at the embassy (background color or size)

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Fabcol(m): 8:15am On Jul 23, 2019
Transcript is not a major requirement for visa application but if you want to go with it then you have to break the seal.. I went with mine.

Waec certificate is what they mean by secondary school certificate...so if u dont v that, go collect it ASAP

Background colour for the passport should be white... The size of the photograph should be 36mmx45mm. The height from top to bottom face should be between 32- 36mm.
