1.Menopause can occur at any age between 45-56 years of age. A woman should stop seeing her period latest by 56 years of age. As long as a woman sees her period, she can get pregnant normally (and yes, it happens).

2.IVF does not cause cancer. Sorry. Your friend, God rest her soul...happened to have cancer at the same time she was doing her IVF.(The hormones given as part of the IVF may have worsened the cancer..but I doubt..as women commencing a cycle of IVF are thorighly investigated first...scans included...)

3.Even post menopausal women can give birth by several methods...some store their eggs when they are fertile..and get it fertilised and implanted when they are post menopausal, some have uterine transplants, etc....

So, madam giving birth via IVF is very very possible...and 45 is even too young the way things are going.
