Stop spending money on tv monthly subscription. The world is moving to iptv. My IPTV channels comes with over 9000 live channels from over 25 country. You have the right to watch any live games not the games your tv channels providers makes available for you. Why pay for Netflix when my IPTV subscription comes with over 6000 Video on demand the same as Netflix. IPTV annual subscription is cheaper than what pay TV collect from us every month. Over a year+ that I discovered IPTV, I have not paid any TV provider in Nigeria. I watch Europa, UEFA, EPL, LALIGA, ETC. I will provide a two day free code if you are ready to change your TV experience. I as dey here, guys from Europe and US are paying for my Channels code. Chart me on 08122218470, 08077733373

Damn!

And we busy lavishing and promoting one stupid show called BBN where pre-marital sex, romance, nudity, substance abuse and all ills in the world are exhubited.

This is one of the reasons it can't be well with this country.

It's a curse. God just using our leaders and pastors to manifest it on our populace.

What has BBN to do with anything?! shocked

Are all other countries that have Big Brother (US, UK, Sweden, Brazil, etc.) as damaged as Nigeria?
Nope! One reason “it can’t be well with this country” is that we leave substance and chase shadows.

How many interventions does she need though?

Jarus and some other kwarans raised funds for her couple of years back

Who want to be a millionair conducted a show for her too.

Na so she was frowning face all through the show that day.

Those countries you listed don't joke with the families of people and people who have served the country. Go cross check.

She should be put in old people’s home where she will wake up go to the gym, go to dinning three times daily, watch movies and participate in dance programs. I think Nigerian government should be man enough to have such program for old people who can not afford a good life by theirselves

That’s why we asked you to do revolution at least to put some things in order but some of nna think say na Sowore dey craze.
Very correct!
No old people home in Nigeria.
Politicians stole everything in the past decades and now kept on the "work". Advance countries have such homes.
It is a very big risk to grow old in Nigeria without
having anyone related. You will die in the street alone!

Fortunately, you don’t have to worry about that... grin grin grin

Personally, I feel very sorry for the poor woman and hope the state government or the NFF would render some assistance to her, but let’s be clear about one thing - playing for Nigeria afforded a poor semi-educated individual like Yekini (and so many others) the immeasurable opportunity to traverse the globe and earn material wealth well beyond the vast majority of human beings on this planet Earth!

Spoke with her 2 days ago.

What we provided her could not have sustained her for long though. About N250k or so.

I heard someone won N2m for her on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire also a couple of years back. I asked her whether she got that. She said she never did. Maybe she didnt understand what I was describing.

Although she has lost most of her children, there was still one that also spoke to me when I phoned her 2 days ago. Possibly the family also share these gifts with her.

I wonder the way some people here are blaming the government for this old woman's plight. It ought to be a reasonable lesson to everyone. If things are going well for you remember to fix your family up.This includes your parents if you still have them around, your wife and children, your siblings and those who matters in your family. Remember no condition is permanent, anything can happen at anytime so you don't leave them destitute when that moment comes.
Iwonder if you taken notes about how some of our so called musicians, footballers, celebrates live while the goings is good and rosy. They lavish all their money on women, drinks, high class cars, clothes and jewelries and when the situation takes a diving turn into nothingness they starts looking for financial help from those they never helped when they're the rave of the towns.

See, dont Governors and legislative people get retirement? Why cant footballers on national team? If Rashidi had one the package could now sustain mama.

There are old people's homes in Nigeria, it's not popular because most people take care of elderly ones themselves.

Don’t really want to belabor the discussion (lest people mistake my position as being unsympathetic to the plight of someone unfortunate), but military veterans in the US constitute one of (if not) the largest segments of the homeless population. In football, someone like former England international Malcolm MacDonald died broke and penniless. It’s not an uplifting part of the human story but it’s not peculiar to Nigeria.

If we can establish an old people home it will be helpful, so that we can also send bubu, audu Ogbe, OBJ and Co to the home and leave our polity alone
