The method that I use, which is the best for me so far is to pour boiling water over your rice, stir it with a spoon, leave it for like ten mins, stir it again so as to get out as much starch as possible, sieve out the water, then you wash it again two more times with cold water. Done.

Before you cook your rice, make sure the water is already boiling before pouring in your rice.
That way, it doesn't soak up liquid and become soggy .
