The funny thing is that the beggar lady will change location and continue begging ..
Not true. Her older son is eking out a living and the woman sensibly asked that the money be paid into his bank account I believe for proper management. She doesn't even look like your typical beggar- the death of her breadwinner husband may have forced her into begging, after she has only been a beggar for 5 years.

When money means nothing to you, this is what you do with money, help the needy.

God bless the man.

For five years, Fatima has been eking out a living as a street beggar

How can someone beg for a living... Na WA o

Begging is highly lucrative.. If you know you know.
I once knew a real cripple on a wheelchair at an Estate in Ibadan. He had many wives and children. He had houses and even travels about to beg. I saw him even at a market @ Abeokuta.. They target market days..
Forget that they make 300-500.
Rich men give them thousands at a go in the name of alms.

You can imagine that she's been feeding 7 kids in Abuja with this trade... grin

Nice gesture by Mr Tiens though

If you know how many of such women I have tried to help with soft grants to start small stalls and later I see them at some part of Lagos doing same thing , infact most even pretend like they don't know you again. Some of these beggars are even richer than us I gather

Some mumu that will be collecting 10% from the gullibles will never do this because of the private jets and private universities they are targeting

Next time after you have planned, you then kneel down and tell God thus: "Even though these are my plans, but let your will be done. Guide and lead me in the way to follow".

Enough of this in Jesus name they are using to scam and molest you gullibles.

Both the giver and the receivers here have nothing to do with "in Jesus name".

Your Masters in the business of "in Jesus name" will never liberate the gullibles because of private jets and private universities.

Don't be surprised to see this woman begging in the same position next week. It's her profession nothing can be done about it.

Good and godly intentions from the donor but I can say that the cash award to the woman is that of misplaced priorities but good deed in the right direction for the interpreter .
I don't give alms to Hausa beggars. I see it as encouraging begging. You should see them in ibadan. They give birth to lots of kids, refuse to send them to school and use them as begging agents. That is evil and a form of child abuse. I usually tell them to go to school, I will pay their school fees.
I can bet it that the woman with be back on the street, begging again, in few weeks. It is the system that should be addressed.
Titus' gift is very commendable but for the Fatima, I feel different.

Begging didn't start today o, it started from the origin of this world, so, no matter how, people will still beg

Is this not how it should be? But why gift one beggar N2m cash when you can gift 10 beggars 200k each undecided

When it's your turn for God to Favour you.
I pray you are able to tell God He should do exactly so...

It's their set time. Biko.
Allow them.
In as much as you wouldn't tell God to do same when it's time for Him to Favour you.

God bless the Giver and the receivers. smiley smiley

That woman will soon go back to begging, it's a trade in the North.

The culture in the north encourages poverty.
