RTSC:The ND militants deliberately blow up the pipelines to press home their demands. The southeast neighbors egg them on in degrading their environment. Several pipeline networks are laid across certain areas of Abia and Imo but igbos will never muster the courage to blow up the pipelines in their own backyards to spite the FG. 1 Like |

unbitchable:Go to the Niger Delta and see gas being burned away into atmosphere by oil companies. In some places, you can't even see the sun. These gases dissolve into rain and fall as acids where they enter into the soil and rivers and kill off all the plants and fishes. You are still blaming the victims. We are waiting to blame you people too. |

unbitchable: The problem is that you don't know that those who governn it are influenced by those who make the money...the corporate world...my dear go and make money and stop shouting host up and down Go to Ikoyi club and all those elitist club you would know that money rules. In business no body gives a fúck about language it is value proposition.. that is why in a place like Banana island , Osborne Ikoyi, Lekki ..speaking Yoruba is seen as backwardness or even speaking any native language .... Bro go and hutsle . It's a capitalist society If they can chase away indigenous people for refinery of a man.. dude that refinery owner is a stakeholder 1 Like |

AmuDimpka:In any environment, businesses are influenced by policy makers which are the indigenous people of the state. They can fold or be fair to your biz networth. If government can bring down residential buildings for expansion of road projects much more a refinery that would render direct and indirect jobs to millions of her indigenes with projected amount of revenues to the state coffers |

solmusdesigns:Did you read the trash you wrote or are you a Nigerian at all?. which 200 Millions are you talking about. The OP raised a serious concerns on the aquatics of Lekki,Epe and all the environment so that the people will not become victims in their land as we have witnessed in Ogoni land and other Niger Delta Regions ,yet here is a selfish-soul talking about Millions that may not even benefits 10% of Petrol Dollars gains. Man,have you carried analysis on how much that was stolen in the above region(both in human and materials) that couldn't benefits Nigerians, yet, the land is destroyed forever.? You can be to Aiyetoro -Epe and feel the fear and the impulse of the people. •Up till now,no State Official or Legislatures has taken Dagote On -Round -Table Assessment of the Environmental-Impact, that on Full Resumption of the Refinery, how would life of the people be better than the way it was met? •What happens to the Beautiful Sea,Lagoon and the Oceanic link, with all the Fishes and the Aquatics splendor?.Hope people are aware that in this Particular land, there is a place where both the Sea and Oceans do meet,s should there be Oil- Spillage? •Where would the Products pass through in view of the APAPA -Road-Lock-Jam- experience, where every one was held hostage, which is terrible anyway? •Are the Lekki-Epe Roads big enough to accommodate All those Trailers or •Is there a Light-Rail built from Dagote-Refinery back to link Epe-Ijebu-Ode Road that will make the Road easy for Other Petrol users coming from different parts of Country?.The earlier this Environmental Impact Assessment is done and adhered to,the better for all of us.We don't need the UN to do the right thing for us. |

solmusdesigns: Can you just listen to your mind before typing this. This country should never be in a situation where we'll depend on private refineries to supply our fuel needs in the first place. This is a scheme of gullibly enriching individuals at the risk of the people who really control the national values of this country with their participation in a business venture that's in a higher need of supply. It's sad that this point wasn't obvious |

solmusdesigns: Priority like continuing to focus on am oil sector that's predicted to decline in future due to the threats it poses on climate change? Or is it a priority where we pollute a vital area of the Atlantic that can not only serve as a food basket but a potential ecosystem that can save climate change and other problems. Oh i think you should really get your priorities straight. |
