you don't stand a chance to assess as a Marketing specialist with Vetassess. It's gonna be negative due to your degree from UNAD (4 year course).

Good day everyone, I need help from a Radiographer who has completed assessment with the ASMIRT. I seem to have submitted documentation that sold me short and I have been given the opportunity to add more documentation. Can someone who has completed PM me so I know what else to submit? Thank you and God bless

Have you done assessment with EA?

Chemical Engineering is not on Tasmania list.

Chemical Engineering is also not on the stream 2 list that requires a minimum 5years offshore work experience

189 should not even be on your mind if you don't have points of up to 90 and above... Not even for an occupation like chemical engineering.

You could go for Chemist or Chemistry technician with Vetassess

Points:

Education : 15
English :10
Experience : 0
Single: 10
Total: 65

This is without state point which is low.

Your occupation does not seem to tally with what you studied per se. For TRA, ICT Support may not fly due to the degree and less than 3 years experience, same for ACS for network engineer based on your degree.

The options you have:

1. assess your qualification only as an Electronics or electric engineer with EA.
2. Go through the 3 occupation lists on www.anzscosearch.com and look for TRA occupations you can assess for while waiting for d 3 years experience to be complete

I submitted everything that was on the list. However, a friend said maybe my cpd points didn't add up, or maybe I should have added my internship logbook (the board says they dont have it anymore). I just want to talk with someone who was successful to know what I may have missed out.

190 and 491 should be available depending on the states. Most states are not as cheerful with 190 as they used to be, so bear that in mind.

Yes, your BEng should get you a positive assessment for any of the two occupations however, it solely depends on your job descriptions. If they are not well aligned to any of these two occupations, the outcome may not be positive.

Most of the states are not sponsoring the occupation 261399.
You'll lose experience point due to your degree and may still not get nomination in time.

Your other option is to either nominate ICT Customer support officer or Hardware technician with TRA to be ahead.

Please my brother I sent you a PM.

Chemist is quite closely related to Chemical Engineering. "Develops and monitors chemical processes and production."

Depending on what you did though. If you've worked in a chemical process and production, the above is the major role of Chemical Engineer. So, chemist will fly. But if your experience is based on carrying out of lab tests, then chemistry technician should fly.

NSW, TASMANIA, VICTORIA are accepting Chemist and Chemistry technician. But I think they are still demanding 5yrs work experience requirement.

But it seems all the states are demanding for mandatory 5yrs experience for 491 for offshore applicants and a job offer by an Australia employer. Are those not the requirements for offshore applicants for 491? Correct me if I am wrong.

What of persons that do not have up to that years of experience. How will they navigate this?

Only NSW 491 demands 5 years experience for all occupations in stream 2 list.
VIC 491 requires job offer for all occupations on their list.
Other states have specific requirements relating to the respective occupation such as minimum of 75 or 85 points, 3 years experience, specific English result etc.
Some occupations in NT also require job offer too.

Some occupations are having it good while some like Accounting, Engineering and ICT are not getting offshore nominations.
