I learnt some freshers wants to start JIJO, you are gifting Stockbroker your money.

If got Zenith @ N10 don't JIJO with it o.
How many people who bought at this price still have it in their portfolio? Very few. Most that bought at this bargain price have jijo'd with it when oga Agba announced his exit. grin. Like sir Oracle stated yesterday, the wealth transfer has already happened!

Who is your broker to start with?
After they refused to buy the first day, why not call them to register your displeasure?

** To your question, if your broker is an analogue type that doesn't operate digital platform, I'm sorry you have no choice than to be at their mercy, you have to keep sending mandate and just follow it up with calls or visitations to their office if you're close by.
** If you can enter the request yourself, why sending mandate in the first place? That's if they have "trade by yourself platform".

** For the last question, if it's possible for you to send them mandate to buy/sell for you and you still trade yourself, there's no issue than the fact that you will have double of the quantities you wish to buy (should they execute it), that's if you have enough fund to cover it in your acct.

Note:
* Once prices are going up, your brokers too will be much more concerned with accumulating their quantities too, hence their needs and that of their deep pocket customers takes priorities first.
What this means is that your mandate comes second, they may attend to it when the prices have gone up already and 'they're less busy'.
** Open another account with a digital broker so you can trade by yourself, that's IF they don't operate digital trading.(must be with same CHN though).
** If they have digital platform, learn to trade by yourself.

Thank you Mcy56, I appreciate.

I registered my displeasure through calls and mails. All they know how to do is to acknowledge my requests. Though they treated my requests last week but nothing this week for three days.

I use United Capital. I requested for their online platform and they told me to fill update forms as they claim not to have my email address with them ( same mail they send daily market updates to o).

I'm yet to send the forms as I recently did name change. I will try and get necessary documents as the surname on BVN has changed and send to them to show evidence of name change on Tuesday so that they can creat me on their online platform. Thank you dear

Let me ask you, if you buy @10 and sell @12, what will your profits, minus brokage fees.

Well I still have it in my portfolio.

4 year dividend will cover the cost.

Just go to https://investnow.ng/, and have a chat with the customer service representative.

Guys i have looked some pages (almost 50 pages out of the almost 6000 pages) and done my own research your expertise and advise is highly needed. I want to switch to an Online trading platform but not sure which offers the best in terms of charges, customer service, easy to user web/mobile app and prompt action. Some online platforms seem to have different NSE, CSCS and SEC charges which i presumed should be the same. See my shortlist below;

1. Morgan Capital
2. Stanbic Ibtc (I am aware they need 5mm to open account)
3. Chaka
4. ArmStockTrade
5. leadtrader
6. Cardinal Stone (I am aware they need 1mm to open account)
7. CSL stockbrokers
8. Meritrade

Thanks in advance
I am interested to this answer as well but for platforms you can do all the account opening online. I know with Morgan Capital you cant

I am thinking there is more to ZEE , the merger of UNION bank may soon be communicated

ZEE would be bigger than GT if this ultimately occure. My advice buy more of ZEE for keep. grin

He once wanted to transfer some little cash for me to have some bottles of beer some years ago, but I sincerely told him ... I would use the money to fuel my evangelism bus. Surprisingly he insisted I must use it for beer. At the end, I told him to forget the money. I would have collected the little money then and use it as I wish. However, it is a sin against the invisible God.

Well, if not for this lock down, I was supposed to be in Abiriba now, on my second missionary trip this year. If he (loco) has changed, Abiriba needs a lot of financial support.

Except for those residing in Lagos many others who use Morgan Capital Securities Limited here opened their accounts online. So you can open your account with them online.

Zenith might be heading back to 12 Tuesday, OIL retraced, so might be the all share index.

GTB will always be ahead grin grin grin

You are right sir, already bigger than GTB and they have the highest shareholders fund in the industry.
I have my reservation about them acquiring Union bank as this might probably result in reduced efficiency making them to lag more behind GTB.

Zenith is also the most profitable bank in the country.

I have my reservations about the rumoured acquisition of Union Bank.

Being bigger than GTB may not translate to greater efficiency and profitability, honestly i will prefer Zenith as it is right now. But what do i know? My holding is probably just 0.00000001%

GTB is the most efficient. Zenith is the most profitable bank.

When GTB made a profit after tax of N186 billion in 2019, Zenith bank made a profit after tax of N208 billion.

If GTB could make the size of the Income made by Zenith bank, I am sure GTB would have made a Profit after tax of over N250 billion.

Among the FUGAZ, First Bank is the least efficient followed by Access Bank
