If you disagree with the data emanating from China regarding Covid19, you will also disagree with the WHO data. The WHO has monitors in China who are there partly to understudy the chinese model for dealing with the virus, but mainly to ensure that the data from China is accurate and validated. Let's assume that the data from China and the WHO are both wrong, it still doesn't explain why data from other countries like South Korea, Germany, Italy, France etc actually mirror the chinese data in terms of disease spread, trajectory, mortality rate, importance of mass testing and mass lockdown procedures etc.

When China shutdown a lot of their cities to combat this virus at the early stages, a lot of countries slagged them off as a communist regime perpetuating draconian policies. The same countries have since adopted similar strategies to combat the virus.

We owe a lot to China on understanding how this virus works. The only reason the worldwide deathtoll isn't worse than it currently is is because China has been very open specifically regarding data on this virus. I could talk more on the relevance of the data from China, but let me rest here for now.

I disagree with China on a lot of things, but as an avid lover of public health science and epidemiology, China has been spot on on this specific issue.

When this is all over.... WHO and China hopefully will have a lot to answer for especially WHO

Agreed that WHO and China goofed.
Trump is also an opportunist trying to use WHO's fault to cover his own deficiencies. Trump previously called Covid a hoax. Intelligence report warned WhiteHouse of coronavirus crisis as early as November, but nothing was done.
I don't understand the US president. This is not the right time to freeze funding the organization. He could review that after Covid is over.

You don't have to. I think the right statement is 'I don't understand the American ppl who voted him in' .. .. It's not a surprise to most people that he's the most useless president ever liveth

Lol. Freezing WHO funding from the US is a case of cutting off the nose to spite the face.
Imagine it the UK, Germany, Japan etc decides to pull their own funding too. This is a time the world needs to stay united.

What makes you think so? Usually WHO relies on data sent from nations.

WHO reluctance to challenge what it was being told, has cost the world dearly...…………..

Also its current close owanbe friendship to China makes some call it WHO Chinese Health Organisation has blurred the line for WHO to do their work properly and their job was to double check what china was saying......WHO kept downplaying it and even criticized countries when they tried to close their border while heaping praise on China

Watch this space: In time the truth will be told on WHO role in the cover up regarding the true scale of Covid 19 in China . So many people have died that didn't need to die if WHO and China had done this properly and more transparent

The message here is a president that has blamed everyone else but himself. They briefed him about the dangers but he never believed it and even till now he doesnt by contemplating reopening the US economy early May.

Also this funding helps alot of developing and under developed countries not China, it's just being spiteful

In as much as WHO can be blamed for some other things, it is not easy shutting down an economy that's the truth, and if WHO had come out explicitly to advise US and co in January to shutdown they wouldnt have as it was still in the "contagion" phase.

Plus what about millions of tax payers fund that is being spent on intelligence warfare by this countries, how come they all missed it.

Not even the time to be sharing blame, learn and note for future

agreed on shutdown of economy , but at least if Everyone was aware of the magnitude and shut down their border , I believe it would have been better . WHO had many failings on this topic. Data shows 5 million fled Wuhan and 5 million is a lot of people.

Maybe Thrump timing is not the best but WHO has a lot to answer for in this case , too many lives have been lost

Yes I agree WHO made some mistakes but by the end of January, they had stepped back from the Human-to-human/travel ban. I think Donald is just looking for someone to blame as he always does. He blamed Obama, Democrats as it's their new Hoax, his own admin staff for being an alarmist and the media. Reports say South Korea and US had their first case the same time and still failed to listen to his health experts and intelligence team.

Watch how ill prepared the US was:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpX_isSrXhE

If he had listened to his Intel team, they could have defied WHO and prepare themselves. If it was war now, they know how to defy the world organisation, spend Billion $$$ on weapons and start one ...

True but that's a lot of money and would definitely affect their response and actions going forward. Anyways another billionaire can award WHO the 400million dollars equivalent

Trump is just lining up excuses for presidential campaign because he knew very well that he was incompetent, was it WHO that told him that coronavirus is like a flu that will magically go way within a short time? He claimed that he knew the pandemic so well that people are wondering how come he knew so much about the disease.

He refused to help some governors because they are not appreciative and even down played the death figure.

Hello everyone.

I trust that everyone is staying safe this period.

Please I want to ask, what is the best platform for transferring funds from a UK company account to a Nigerian savings account.

They mentioned Western Union, but I'm skeptical about it, and I know efcc is always weary of funds coming through that platform, any help please?

Thank you.

Try Ace Money Transfer. The exchange rate is currently 500 Naira to 1 pound. That's what I've been using of late.
